No one is talking about forced acts but you, yet you are trying to say people are laughing at them for being forced.
It's right there in the article. To cheer on the guy, and mock the girls, without reading the article is irresponsible.

Even you have tried to argue directly about the rape accusation 'flimsy evidence', despite him pleading guilty to it. Flimsy or not the girls claims were, once someone pleads guilty to it, it's safe to assume they were telling the truth.

Sammartino said Garcia was, “without question,” one of the leaders behind the scheme she described as “malicious” and “callous,” and said the victims were treated as “disposable commodities.”
Disposable commodities is what you are when you’re recruited to shoot a porn video..

Fukkin women, no accountability, no responsibility for their dumb decisions.

He goofed in saying they were going to be distributed privately if that’s what he did. Should’ve just had in the fine print or legal disclosures that they would be disseminated online on their private website, and may or may not appear on other sites.

You dont need to specify when thats the majority complaint.

A simple analogy is 100 women say a guy sex traffic them by coercion by promising marriage. 1-2 of the girls say they were forced as well.

Any comments about them being laughed at or being stupid would be taken to be a reference to the majority not the 1 or 2. Yet you take it as a reference to the 1 or 2. Very low iq.

The porn industry needs some type of upfront advertising regarding the potential risks. Something akin to tobacco packaging, or responsible gambling disclaimer...

It's not like he got charged with 400 counts. Like another poster said, out of those 400 be probably coerced and went too far with half a dozen, but that's still half a dozen sexual assault, trafficking or rape charges, which easily could add up to substantial jail time. The guy probably shot 600 public videos and apparently has another 400 in the vault so that's 1000 women. All it takes is one or two screwups.

The netvideogirls guys probably have it down, they do a very similar type of scene but definitely the girls know what's going on and they are never even close to impaired. Obviously they also hire girls who have already performed or definitely want to be in a porn shoot.

You're not reading my posts properly, so I'll try for the last time...

It's right there in the article. To cheer on the guy, and mock the girls, without reading the article is irresponsible.

Not a single person said any sympathy for the raped girls, and clarified they were only talking about the "DVD" girls, which would be the compassionate and responsible thing to do.

The fact that they kneejerk jumped to the defence of the guys, and mocked the women, is a glaring problem. The article took a couple of minutes to read, and if they did they would come to the conclusion, if they are a decent human being... "Oh he raped some girls? 20 years in prison is getting off lightly. I'm not going to praise this guy".

Even you tried to make the 'flimsy case' argument, and didn't focus on the fact that they guy plead guilty to their claim. I don't even know what you are arguing about at this point, tbh.

No since you can mock the majority just as you would if an article was about marriage coercion, but the article states 1 or 2 claim they were physically forced as well.

I think that's a brilliant idea, tbh.

Imagine on every contract it says something like;

"I understand that performing in pornographic films can lead to a serious damage of reputation, ability to find future employment, health problems, and access to financial services (banks close pornstars accounts, in case people don't know). I am willing to accept those risks."

It needs to be put right in the performers faces.

I don't doubt that some of the girls knew what they were getting in to. On the other hand it wouldn't surprise me a bit if there was some truth in the allegations of coercion. If you control the video and video editing you can make things look however you want.

Kids sometimes make bad choices, and a lot of these women were just 18. Of course, their are different levels of "bad" and shooting a porno is pretty high up there. I don't have any problem with these guys getting punished for any laws they broke. Them getting punished isn't going to prevent the girls from facing the consequences of their choices. Some will have more consequences than others, but I don't think any will get off scot-free. At a minimum they will know what the did, and unless they are a sociopath it will be a burden. Consequences are rarely distributed equally. Most of the time I'm grateful for that, except when it's my turn to face the music.

All defendants plead guilty. They breached terms of the contract, mislead their victims and made money from from lying to them.

What is the issue? And why are the red pillcels so upset?

"If the women ever changed their minds about filming or completing the scenes, the defendants threatened to sue them, cancel their flights home or post footage that had already been filmed online, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said."

Isn't that blackmail?

Him pleading guilty IMO says a lot, especially seeing as what the law defines sex trafficking as (Which I posted above). I believe those 1 or 2 girls were probably telling the truth.
God damn you are so insufferable sometimes.

"Sex Trafficking" is a bullchit catch-all charge that the feds throw in to look good, it's a political move for the DA's so they can do exactly what you just did....spin it as being against "sex trafficking" which of corse most low IQ people in our society think is kidnapping a poor 15 year old girl and selling her into sex slavery. You know damn well what occurred here was a simple business transaction which just happened to occur over state lines, making it interstate commerce, making it a federal issue - it's a total joke.

Additionally, because you're dumb, but not that dumb (nomisayin') you know INNOCENT defendants routinely plead guilty because the conviction rate of the courts is upwards of 90%. We live in a banana republic. Remember how we used to make fun of Soviet "Show Trials" in the 80's because conviction rates would be about....oh....90%? We used to ridicule this nonsense. Defendands have no chance against the state and federal government which has unlimited resources, and doesn't play by the rules.

I can't wait to see your mental gymnastics to this question - Do you think a 90% conviction rate is indicative of a fair judicial system?
