P365
G19
G42
Staccato C2
CZ P0Z?
G43x

I just looked at the section titles of the video. If it's a list of his favorites, you'd have to ask him if it's accurate. If you want to know if it's a representative list of what people out there carry, my experience says no.

A top carried list I think would be

Tier most common:
G19 (sometimes 23, 19x, or 26 but mostly 19)
G43 and X
P365 family
1911 for older folks (Springfield, Colt, Kimberlol)
Taurus such as G2C G3C

Tier 2 commonality
Hellcat
5 shot .38spl snub
M&P
P320
Rugers

3–Everything else with probably Beretta somewhere between 2 and 3

Shop around. For the slide cut/refinish and cerakoting the frame I paid like $220 I think. Culper Precision in Provo, UT if you want to check them out but you should be able to find someone to do a simple slide cut for less than $300. I don't have any previous experience with Culper, but two different LGS recommended them to me and I read great things online. I dropped it off in person and they were cool dudes.

People's preference varies immensely but I carry a C2 and love it. Some people don't like manual safeties or grip safeties, but I prefer it on a carry gun. Plus something that's very fast like he mentioned in the video is a huge factor for me. Really can't go wrong with anything on that list though.

i was in the mindset for years where i felt like i had to buy one firearm after another. its easy to get carried away and irresponsibly spend all your money on guns, but it creates a feeling of regret.

there still are some things i need to buy, like upgraded triggers, more ACOGs and more ammo, but im in no rush to do it. personally, im over the need to keep buying things because inflation is scary, and i own a house. things break and i cant afford to keep blowing all my money on guns.

To my surprise, the shop swapped the muzzle devices right then and there. No week or two turn around as originally quoted, so that was cool. Once I get back from Portland I'll rattle can this one.

This is where i'm at now, i want more Glocks, more Taurus, more ammo, more mags, but i also have to do house repairs so i'm in a bind, but i love getting new toys.

idk i might just stick to buying things on special occasions like Christmas or birthdays. I almost bought another Glock before i typed my original post but i talked myself out of it by reminding myself i need to fix chit on my house.

Not guns, but I got knives!

Two of them being out the side autos.

Speaking of guns though the Sig P365 Macro is catching my eye. I held it and WOW so easy to grip. I haven't shot one yet but I'd imagine it's one of the better sub compacts out there in terms of recoil management. May have to switch.

For the rest of you that don't know how to leave well enough alone. I have a Tikka superlight in 223 that I've been wanting to free float the barrel and bed the action to the stock. Free floating the barrel should help maintain a static zero from varying field positions and bedding the action should improve accuracy and make the zero less affected by rough handling. The gun was already very accurate, but I like to tinker. I figure the case scenario is a foul things up and replace the factory plastic stock with a composite stock.

Marking with tape to show how much to open the barrel channel:

Barrel channel opened up and also the bedding areas roughed up so that the epoxy will adhere.

I did the above over the last couple evenings. This evening I'm hoping to get the bedding done. After that I'll probably sponge paint the stock.
