White people in America were still complacent, and marginalized and treated black Americans as second class citizens up until the early 70's (I have living relatives that attest to that) if not later than that in many parts of the country.

White slaves in America were indentured servants. They had a start and an end date to their servitude and once they paid it off they were integrated back into society and noone was the wiser. Africans in America were by and large slaves for life. It wasn't until the early 19th century that a handful of States granted the ability of slaves to become free, but even if they did gain their freedom they could very well be shackled and enslaved all over again if they traveled into the wrong state that didn't practice such laws.

Heck, i'll admit that blacks did bad things, but one think I never hear or read in these discussions is admission that white people had some problems of their own. The deflection is seriously unreal. Somehow all of the worlds problems have been due to Jews or blacks or asians, but white people were just innocent bystanders who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I watched tv before you were born and there were plenty blacks people. In Soviet Union we used to watch bulls vs lakers in the 80s, black Brazilian tv drama. So… not sure what you trying to say in your first paragraph. Whites don’t mind blacks on tv.

Being treated as lower grade citizen is normal for whites too. There is no black person alive whose life is worse than Russian average citizen in Russia as an example. Blacks in US are sooooo lucky and privileged in comparison, even your relatives from 70s.
