Wrong, you do unless you are able to identify to a reasonable extent which coins are which. If you buy a bunch of coins and store them all together you will have to use FIFO.

If you separate each purchase into different wallets and use those to liquidate the coins you could use LIFO.

Got a good entry on OMG. I'm holding for the long term but IMO this is a good entry because most coins are basically back to where they were pre-btc pump a couple of days ago. OMG isn't anywhere near that yet. But it's starting to curve back up

Ah I see, yeah I made sure to get all my money moved around to non us exchanges before the new year that I'll be flipping big amounts before the new year.

edit - boostn Looks like LRC will atleast stable around 3.7 for a few hours I'm guessing.

I'm still setting half my buy order for like 3020 on LRC but I'll take the other half and put in a different alt going upwards (VEN for me)

These fuking exchanges man.

Withdrew a couple of ether from Binance. Still pending after 2 hours, txid that they give doesn't show up on etherscan.

Got impatient so deposited the same amount from my wallet to Kraken in advance to speed things up. For 1+ hour now it's shown up as successful but they didn't actually credit my account.

I would probably keep all Ripple off CB once it hits. They froze BCH once it pumped to hard. Though I would probably sell off once it hits the exchange or a couple hours after.

Yeah im gonna look at VEN and maybe ill do the same. It might even crack 4k sats and have a small pump before a dump since it has to eventually i mean it's been going through this phase for a few days now haha.

edit- Why arent any of my images i attach to posts showing up? Like they show for about 30 seconds but if i refresh the page theyre gone... Im using tinypic aswell and embedding it all correctly....

Very true -- but what do you think about Coinsquare adding it?

Haven't done a whole lot of research into Coinsquare so i don't know how big of a canadian exchange it is, but supposedly, they're working to list it there, too.

trading on foreign exchanges or DEX's for 2018 boys... untrackable! semi srs. I'm not even trying to dodge taxes I just don't want to ****ing deal with trade by trade reporting haha across 19 exchanges to which half probably don't even have good records or are hosted out of country.

won't be trading on bittrex if i can avoid it for 2018.

Yeah I could see passing 4k for a bit, I'm a huge believer in LRC so I'm flipping pretty big amounts right now (50k+ LRC), I'll be at work tonight too so I can't watch the charts and only set buy orders which really sucks, I might have to raise it to 3.1 for my buy and cross my fingers, not trying to let that amount have a run without me lmao

edit - ah chit Boost I used to play cards for a living for a bit too! helped me be able to distance myself from the money for sure.
