Lmao what a market. Christ. Maybe XRP will hit $4 after all, unbelievable seriously. Sold off my VEN too early today for more XRB but that'll probably pay off nicely either way. Bought in XLM/ADA/ENG this morning. ENG lagging behind a bit on this moon mission.

Despite my XRB (by far my biggest holding) being down $10 since yesterday I'm still about the same on my portfolio as yesterday. CEO 10k/day as long as XRB recovers soon, which I'm sure it will.

Fuark I don't know whether to hodl 7 different cryptos and each of them like 0.013BTC or have one 0.1BTC coin to ride out for gains, then later diversify. Seems like hodling couple of hundred bucks worth of one coin(like XRB, brb 5 coins only) will not get as big a gain as a cheaper, more riskier coin that can moon tenfold.

edit: btw theres still time to jump on dat dere RDDcoin 5.5x run in 20 days. hovering around and below $0.2, will get up to $0.8.

you would have really had to look at the marketcap and total supply at the time to understand where bitcoin could go. i mean i also almost invested a long time ago but i had no idea where it could potentially go. i mean is it really fathomable to imagine you putting down 100 bucks when btc was a penny and you had hundreds of btc that it wouuld be worth 20k per coin one day?

it makes sense when you look at btc's supply being like 21 million though.

anyways, chit was probably used by silkroad users. dead srs.. only way i see it getting a foothold in any capacity. otherwise its just as worthless as a virtual currency in any video game. those fukers were sending it to and fro and seeing the advantages which is why it took off

I can't speak on Coinbase's behalf. However the IRS has said if it will permit other accounting methods for coins. They've allowed specific indentification in securities. You have to select this method when setting up your account. It automatically defaults to FIFO. If LIFO is chosen your broker will automatically identify each and every purchase you make. Allowing you to use the LIFO method.

This is not an option on any crypto exchange.

Using the LIFO method could raise a red flag since it's a deferral of income and the IRS has only approved this method with specific indentification used in securities.

Im basically spread like this. 30% BTC 70% alts and when an alt i have is up like 40%+ for the day i cash out 25% or more into btc depending on how much it's pumped and then find another coin thats going sideways or on a dip and funnel 50% into that coin. At least that way i have a position in half the coins that are mooning for the day and the other half is being quiet. But at a time like this when the whole market is basically 30-80% and like 5 coins on binance arent up it's really hard for myself at least to have enough balls to enter a coin thats already mooning. Im always willing to HODL if it drops or sell at a loss and buy back in lower but rather just keep it in btc and ride the daily btc wave from high 14ks to mid 12ks.
