yeah its in Laval. I just recently re-signed up here. Solid gym. Bunch of bodybuilders come here, Antoine Vaillant trained here and might still be around off hours.

Does it get really crowded? How much is it monthly?

If you want to get back into lifting, SBD knee sleeves are the real deal. Cutting is kind of cool because you can see changes pretty quick, so yea definitely know that feel.

No man I put on like 14lbs in 6 weeks. Bodyfat hasn't really changed though, probably lots of water and food weight. It's wonderful. Then I need to cut up again when I can't breathe going up stairs.
yeah man, i'm not entirely sure if it'll be my last year as i may have to finish up some BS course like computers or algebra physics or something in the summer but no big deal i think. those SBD things are like $100 aren't they? i was considering buying those or rehbans or whatever they're called for squats and running and whatnot but price is so damn steep.

but good stuff on the weight gain. most of that is probably water weight true. you should get up to like 190 or something, become master powerlifter manlet

lol i mean i've still got a ton of mass, muscle doesn't disappear that easy, and i'm still hitting the gym every now and then, it's just nowhere near as frequent as i used to be when i would do crazy volume PHAT 5 days a week without fail for a year. made insane gains that year..

but i tried a different routine today, westside for skinny bastards (more like fat bastards..) part 3 or something. was great, really enjoyed it, i think i'll be able to stick to this one a lot more than some of the crappy routines i've been doing recently.

road biking seems cool. was considering buying a bike but they're like $500 atleast and the thing seems kinda boring. mountain biking though, fun stuff.

I kind of miss it. I was using some cheap bike I bought in a garage sell for 20dollars. Fixed it and used it for 2 years. We've got an amazing bike road that goes through the woods and stuff here so it was really great and had a relaxing feel to it. I never digged riding on the side of the road. Seem so dumb to me. I might switch to mountain biking as road biking was just way too much cardio and it started to affect my progress in the gym.

i'll never get how people ride on the road. i've almost died so many times before of retards on their phones or whatever that have no idea how to drive, surely would have been a dead man 9 times over by now if i'd been on a bike in those situations

too damn scared to ride on the road. even here if i ever bike on the streets i bike on the sidewalk, don't fking care about what cyclists whining about how unsafe the sidewalk is, rather bike into a pole than into a truck.

fking good cardio though, shows you exactly how out of shape you are when you can't bike 30 minutes in the trails without feeling like you're going to die lol

I took a promotion for 3 months for 119$ because im in the between the moves and might change the gym after I move (unlikely but possible). That promo now is gone and they have 2months for 79$ or something like that. Its a lot cheaper than Golds gym I used to go to in St-Laurent, where monthly fee is 65$+.
You could probably get a year for around 400$ easy

And not too crowded, depending what time you go of course, I usually go evenings after work and weekend afternoons, rarely have to wait for equipment.

Some cyclists on the road are huge *******s srs

They want the advantages of both vehicles and pedestrians

But yea man, the SBDs are probably one of the best pieces of gym equipment I own aside from my belt.

I hate the cyclists that come from a blind spot and fly right past your bumper. Good enough reason to have a dash cam if you hit one or they run into you.

For gym equipment I don't have SBD's heard they are good but I'll stick with my blue Rehbands for now.

Makes you just want to open your door and have them T-bone it.

Sleeves are sleeves I'd guess, even though I haven't tried the Rehbands.

No because I'll be charged and it's not worth it for an idiot on a bike who's most likely to get hit eventually.

Well the SBD's are a little longer then the Rehbands I believe.

Well, it took longer then I thought….. but the dirtbike got me. Haha I was getting back to my teenage self and getting confident and trying new things. I went over a little "whoop" and I hit the power band right as I was cresting the jump. Bike decided to take off and dropped me half way. Landed right on my right knee. The pike landed perfectly up against a jump, so I got that going for me… which is nice.

I went back with my brother to see the marks and theres actually a perfect knee divot I took out. I'm currently icing my knees, drinking beer (goodnight sweet cutting) and watching the Blue Jays. That's what my night turned into.

a few pictures from my trip to BC
drove close to 8hrs from Calgary to Penticton
went through cities/towns like Golden, Revelstoke, Sicamous, Enderby, Vernon, and Kelowna
beautiful drive through the mountains with lots of curvy roads that are so fun to rip through in
highly recommend it for those who haven't driven in the Rockies to do so and stop by in different cities and check out lakes/campsites
pictures don't really do justice

4 nights in Penticton, was debating spending a night in Kelowna but friends were being bishes
my buddy has a condo there so that was free!
all in all, I only spent like $250 which accounts for gas, food & eating out, booze, and some illicit items haha

Heard the word before, had to google the location though. Queen Charlotte Islands we knew them as growing up, apparently they changed the name recently.

Never knew there was much tourism going on there, but its probably just a more naturey version of Vancouver Island so yeah that could probably work.

Sweet pics Tibi. I wouldn't mind going out west for a vacation, driving and what not through mountains is awesome.

Speaking of driving I have done a lot of it since Saturday. From Saturday until now I have driven just under 700mi/1126km and I'm doing another 330mi/531km for a nice total of roughly 1050mi/1689km (detours expected). That's a lot of driving to do on your own.

Not much money in bio tho. My exe was a phd candidate and her salary was so poverty it was mind boggling. She liked it tho so I guess its all that mattered. What would kill me in accounting is the lack of interaction I think. Plus the chances of ending up in a cubicle for the next 20yr are quite high in that field. Paycheck makes up for it tho.
