One of the guys here at work is about to start playing on PS4 (Pro) tonight. Very curious to hear his thoughts tomorrow as someone who isn't really going into the game with any particular expectations graphically or otherwise. He pretty much just watched a couple trailers and heard everyone talking about it today and decided to pick it up on his lunch break.

My woman started creating her character on our PS4 Pro last night but didn't get into the actual gameplay, so we haven't seen it yet. I've been warning her, but I think we're prepared for just about anything after dealing with chitfests like Borderlands 3

Consolecels are spoiled by all the optimization they always get is basically what it comes down to.

people blindly believed cdpr could do no wrong so they didnt even wait to see how it played. But still, pretty unacceptable that cdpr would even release it like that, they are to blame. EA has gotten s*it on for way way less than that

I'm also one of those that always gave CDPR the benefit of the doubt

however I was aware it wouldn't be 100% polished at launch and there will be some issues - which is understandable

but the state of affairs atm is really unacceptable tbh, especailly for base consoles ("runs surprisingly well" lmfao)

I shelved my copy for now and I'm gonna wait for my Series X to come to stock and the next gen update

curious to see how this debacle turns out

CDPR can go above and beyond in order to fix this OR their reputation can be besmirched for good - wait and see

No one expected this game to run perfectly on last gen but they did expect it to be playable with a reasonable frame rate and not have ps3 textures. People trust CDPR to uphold a certain standard and by no stretch of the imagination should this game have been released on last gen looking and playing like this. There's no way they were unaware of it. Shady af.

Just launched into the game on a PS4 Pro and we legit don't see what people are complaining about, the game runs buttery smooth so far and looks great

It's better on Pro compared to the regular PS4 where the FPS Dips around 18-29 It struggles to hit 30fps. On the Pro It's able to stay at 30fps better with minor dips.

Best buy says it shipped but fed ex still posted no tracking

But anyway

I'm contemplating leaving it sealed till I get a ps5 ,in say ,what ,April ? Lol

Is it that bad on ps4 ? Is there a link to a discussion or is it just a handful saying this

^^bout 5 hours in on pc now. Having a good time, Have it running well now. But that’s a ****ing tragedy. Would have been less backlash to just not release at all. CDPR gonna be meme and media bait for the next 5 years

As TW3 is a top 3-5 all time game for me that does make me sad. But is what it is
