With how amazeballs some people think a simple dot is, you'd think a dot with brighter, cleaner, clearer glass, a circle dot instead of just a dot, infinite battery life, no electronics, an etched reticle, and just enough semi magnification to make things look better without negatively impacting two eyes open while weighing less than a Aimpoint PRO would be, undeniably, the best to happen since the invention of sex

I love how Trijicon is still charging $900+ for literally fking 30 year old tech. I guarantee you it costs them pennies on the dollar to make an ACOG lol. Forgings are dirt cheap. Like an entire ACOG housing is probably about $25 lol. (Working in the machining industry I've seen way more complicated forgings that cost even less with high enough quantities like they're buying in.) The most expensive thing in the entire optic is the glass. All in, I guarantee you they make an ACOG for sub $250 easily. (100% srs)

Even if we had the slightest interest in producing optics, all 19 of our machines are already at capacity.

There are far more advanced optics on the market than ACOGS. If no one else in the optic game is making them, it's because they probably don't think Trijicon is selling enough outside of military contract to even bother with it. Anything patent related on ACOG's have been up a long ass time ago. If anyone thought the market was there for it, good ACOG clones would already be a thing. I highly doubt ACOG's are a great seller at all. If not for mil purchases, I'm sure they would have been discontinued a long time ago.

LPVO's beat the pants off of an ACOG in every way unless you need your LPVO to survive using it as a hammer, etc. In that case the ACOG would still be better.

So I’ve just seen ballistic/chronograph tests on a 110g V-max 300blk round @ poured to 2200-2400 ft/sec absolutely wrecks and penetrates to perfection out to 100-200m. Yea a varmint round. At that speed is havoc. I’ve found my CQB of choice…250ct coming in to try.

I still need to find a good hunting round which will prob be the gold standard Barnes tac-tx.

And I need to find a solid sub to run for HD.

When the time comes I’m getting a can. What’s the go to cans for 300blk? Heard amazing things about surefire and their durability. Any models recommendations?

Can confirm

A couple of weeks ago, I was shooting steel at 300 off a bench. With the time of day and shadows, I could hardly make out the target with a vortex SPARC. With the ta44, no problem

Surefires are tough, and that's about where their pros end. They're not the lightest or the quietest…

Honestly these days none of the big names are making "bad" suppressors. For 99.9% of people, any one of them is going to last your entire life, and whoever's life you hand it over to once you're dead and gone if you aren't using it for full auto use…
Everyone seems to be generally on the same level technologically when it comes to suppressors. The biggest push I see now is how to keep them quiet with blow through designs to reduce back pressure.

Even cheap YHM suppressors are going 50-70K rounds before needing to be re cored…

Well…yeah. I mean there's tons of budget fixed power prism optics with etched reticles out there. None have the ACOG's durability or glass clarity, but yeah. Cheaper options exist.

You're right, the more advanced aka complex an optic is, the better it is. Complexity is the goal

lol at claiming to be in the industry and not even knowing Primary Arms exists

So you mean to tell me even though they could duplicate the ACOG for pennies on the dollar and undercut Trij with an equal or superior product for 1/4 the price, they aren't?

Get on that bro

I like it. It fits on the gun perfectly, the lazer is super bright and the light has a great "flood" effect for the size. However as I suspected the suppressor blocks some of the light, but that was to be expected. Obviously not the lights fault.

https://www.creativearms.com/product...al-suppressor/ my Eform 4 took about 9 months, in case you missed my announcement earlier in the thread.

They are excellent but limiting in that you can’t run a magnifier behind them. That’s only reason I don’t own one, not saying anyone should care or that it makes them bad in anyway just a personal preference (hopefully that clarifying statement avoids a three page optic argument lol)
