I like this watch a lot. Thought they didn't sell the "5" models in stores though/outside of japan
I've seen them a lot here in Holland.

i also like that his favorite pieces arent gaudy gold/diamond watches from jacob or something

that ROO has alot of scuffs on the bezel. he must wear it ALOT. love this guy

You can tell it's a 15300 and not a 15400 by the lack of hour marker at 3 next to the date window

Almost could even be a 14790 but I don't think he'd go that small

i tell it by the 12 marker. the 15300 has a triangle instead of the double line like a 15400. yea could be a 14790 also but it doesnt look THAT small. plus iggy is a big dude. a 36mm would be even smaller on him

Ah yeah that's another easy tell. I was confused for a sec at you calling it a "triangle" lol. And yeah don't think he'd go for a 14790 either.

you know what i never looked at the 15300 too closely. youre right. its not a triangle. its the AP logo

i said triangle cause the previous ROC's (26300, 25820, 25860) all had a triangle at the 12 whereas the 15400 and the 26320 have a double line [l]. since the 15400 and the 26320 (same generation) all have the same markers, i assumed the 15300 had the same markers as the 26300 also.

Ahh I see where you're coming from. Makes sense. I've always had my eyes most on the 15300 so I didn't think of it that way.

Black submariner and black pelagos?
Sub is gone, black bay will be. Trying to cut down on watch buying in general, man I'd love to be happy with just 3-4 watches. I sent my panerai back for an issue with it. Now I'd like to end up with my speedy, the pelagos, and a reverso would be a prime trio.

Oh chit, didn't realize you had all these collection changes. Is the Panerai getting replaced/repaired or you're just done with it?

Pelagos is so joocy but I prefer the size of a sub (for my wrists).

Which Reverso do you like?

That's the perfect power trio. Sporty, diver and a dress watch.

In other news, there appears to be some movement in my camp. So I'll have some new watches waiting for me when I get back from vacation ;D

Done with the panerai. Looking at the reverso duo with a white and black dial. Pelagos is one of my all time favorite divers, that I never picked up for some reason. I like it more than the sub. The awesome lume, titanium, awesome clasp, everything is great. Don't even mind the novel on the dial now. Can't wait for it.

ive never owned a diver before. but i like that blue tudor. it looks unique and well finished. i would avoid getting a black diver unless i was getting a sub or a sea dweller.

plus i like blue better anyways. just by vote

I've decided for divers I want to get multiple colors. Black for my pelagos, blue I'd like a titanium planet ocean liquid metal, green sub, etc …

You can get it for under 9k. I don't like rolexes pre their subc days. Blasphemy I know, but the bracelets and fit just aren't up to par. The one you speak of is known as the Kermit, which I'm not a huge fan of.

In on 3-4 watch collection goal crew. Unfortunately I sort of don't have any of my perfect 3 yet. Except maybe the aquis, it is a perfect beater really. Would prolly only need another nicer diver, maybe a newer smp than the one I have now, plus a thin white dial handwinding dress watch, and I'd be done
*says 'negged' but doesnt actually neg crew*
*half my posts are drunk, the other half might as well be crew*

So misc, how fussy are you with new watches? My new one has a very slight scratch on the base of the chapter ring at about the 12 o'clock position. You can't tell unless you are really looking for it, but now that I have noticed it I think it will bug me. The only problem is, even if the company agrees to fix it, I dont know if I really want to ship it all the way back to Germany and back again (Im in Oz).
