Many sloots are too insecure to join group fitness classes let alone hit the gym with minimal knowledge about lifting in a room full of bros and female miscers. Times are rough

Me too!
I think women who truly love lifting are never about sculpting just one body part. That's the insta sloot culture not the rest of us. I am all about being well proportioned, for both men and women.
Thing is, most women don'tlove lifting(neither do most men for that matter). They do it just because of that specific body part. If you don't love lifting, do something you love, and get out of my rack, I've got work to do.

Just how am I an anomaly? Because I absolutely love lifting? Because I love the way it makes me feel and the way it makes me look? I really don't feel like that is so off the wall.

Ask many of your friends/family to join you in your workout lately? Take that total number and divide by the number that say yes and attend for more than 1-2 sessions and you'll have your answer.I've asked as dozen guys on workout including roommates in the past and only one cameONCE. I only speak on things I've actually tried -- unless otherwise specified.
BTW, still waiting for his answer.

I'm not that obsessed but I really do enjoy the ritual involved in hitting the gym, the ability to be focused on only me with limited interruptions, the challenge and even the occasional DOMs
Can't stand group classes, not big on cardio so do it under sufferance but happy to move weight
I find it off that anyone would do this without loving it, beyond the noob wannaquit

I guess I'm taking that as a compliment.
You are correct. It is rare to find someone who will actually commit to lifting. I consider myself fortunate that I love it so much. I do know people who don't love it, but do it because they know it's good for them.~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

I think anyone can do whatever they want in the gym since they're paying the membership. If they want to strut around in lululemon and stretch, I couldn't care less as long as they're not doing that in a squat rack. I never pay attention to what others do in the gym, unless they do something impressive.
And agree with Kim that you can do pull-ups only if you do them. I like doing them so I can do them but I can't squat for chit. A toddler can squat more than me, I have horrible sciatica and it's not good at all. I think my front squat is getting pretty good, though. I have nice bruised shoulders which is better than limping after squats.
