Kind of reminds me of that one scene in Age of Ultron where he has that vision where everyone dies and he is all alone. Talk about foreshadowing.....
Nebula is still alive on Titan. Plus he can fly the Milano(Quill's ship)back to earth.

i literally hate the black widow character for that reason you mentioned. she serves no purpose on the battle field other than frowning and holding a gun. in this case she had a melee weapon. i wish thanos would have punched her in the head

id like to point out how hulk got fuked up by thanos. hulk had the size and strength but damn thanos had the technique. head head body shots, duck and move ...he could have been golden gloves lol

i wish the other cosmic beings would show up to wreck shop, like silver surfer, mephisto (if ghost rider was canon with marvel movies) and gladiator

Same here. Audience was having fun with the movie. Thor came in hot into that battle in Wakanda. Was dope as fuuukk

Really thought iron man was done. Should’ve been done there, but I guess he had to be saved.

Sucks dr strange died. Like his character a lot.

Gamora dying had me al ost dropping a tear and spidey dying as well

Can’t wait for the next avengers. Sooo glad I made my friends watch it last night since they wanted to wait til sat. 10/10 film

I'm gonna wager that everyone who died pre-"finger-snap" is actually dead and gone. That includes, Gamora/Heimdall/Loki

Did anybody give a toss about Vision and/or Scarlett Witch? And what happened where Vision went from some uber circa Ultron to a bitch in this one?

I like Chris Pratt, but Starlord was annoying as **** this movie. Sad to see Batista stuck as total comic relief and fodder for this movie too.

My theater was in love with Capt. America. They were really pissed about Spiderman.

Could be. A bit of a waste considering Loki and Gamora were too of the better ones.

Dr. Strange remains a poverty Tony Stark. The movie had lots of good moments and Thanos was a solid villain, but too many people having to get their **** in, imo. They should've killed off more people earlier, and relied less on weaker elements...like, you know, Vision and Scarlet Witch. I liked Thor's plot, but that could've shaved some minutes too.

Well either where Thanos got the stone, Tony lived, or both.

This movie probably is going to look a lot worse in afew years after everybody killed in this movie is suddenly revived and most of the rest also survive.

Does Drax get to do anything in this movie, or is he still pure comic relief? Both Bautista and his character seemed terribly underused, would love to see him get chit done.

He has a moment, but he's basically comic relief. Everybody in this movie has to get some **** in, which makes me wonder if the next one will be better, sinc you've got less fan service. I'm sure there are people that liked certain things a lot, and I probably liked some stuff more than others, but too many heroes, imo. It's the civil war issue but ramped up more, and with a better villain than that german goof.

Of the cast of characters, I thought the guardians got the roughest deal.

They've done that for awhile.

I'd agree it was jarring. But so was the even steven booking of Cap. and earlier suit Iron Man vs. Loki in Avengers 1,Cap. and his crew vs. the dark order in scotland, any number of ppl vs. Thanos in this movie (esp. as he added stones), etc.

Absolutely loved the comedy in this one, really lightened up some of the more emotional parts.

My heart nearly dropped out of my chest when Tony got stabbed.. I almost didn't know how to react when he got stabbed.

Really hit the feels when Gamora and Spidey died

Damn good movie, easily top 3 superhero movie all time.

I love that fight scene with Thanos and Strange, but why didn’t he use the time stone? And Ebony Maw is a powerful motherfuker, this guy was toying with 3 avengers.
What was the point of Paul Rudd being at the premier?(same with Goldblum) Im hearing he finds Captain Marvel in his upcoming movie
Did Benicio die? Isn’t the collector immortal.
That dude in the chamber at the end of GOTG 2 is supposedly really powerful, I wonder if he makes an appearance in the next movie

I didn’t like the whole Gamorrah story line, too touchy feely and cheesy. And I was hoping Thanos and his crew actually killed more characters by hand, making them disappear like that was kind of a cop out.

Paul Rudds in AV4, from what the Russos(the directors) have said, is that AntMan 2 will have quite a few elements which are in AV4, im assuming the quantum realm mumbo jumbo stuff.

I think its obvious this was the only way for them to win and Dr strange saw that. He let the let the natural order take its course. Otherwise he wouldve stopped starlord from attacking Thanos if it were to interfere with the outcome but he didnt. He also gave up the time stone knowing that as long some of them survive especially iron man, its enough to stop Thanos with the gauntlet being fried and depowered (as we saw at the end). The only challenge here is since he wanted Stark alive, Stark has 1/14,000,650 chance to make sure each move from here on out is calculated.

Movie was a mind blown

9-10/10

Also, LOL @ DCEU and Justice League. This movie had 20-30 protagonist but still executed it right by having its main villain out shinning them all. Take fukken notes you plebs

Strange had already seen the only outcome that worked and him using the time stone on Thanos wasn’t one of them.
If you’re Rudd and they give you premiere tickets to Infinity Wars, are you going to turn it down? Also, support.
We don’t know what happened to the collector as everything in that particular scene was made up from the reality Stone. Don’t know if you saw but there’s a blue man in one of the tubes. It’s an arrested development joke. Not the first in a Marvel film either.
Pretty sure the directors have already said there will be no Adam warlock this time around.they suggested that he will need his own movie to explain who and what he is. Had they had any plans for him to be in this, he would’ve been the one guarding the soul stone.
I felt the same about Gamorrah as well.

They better****ing bring is with Darkseid. I have a feeling they’ll fuk that up too. So pissed that they can’t seem to get this right. Until people start boycotting them ( which they won’t), nothing will change. Would give anything to see the anti-life equation arc done on the big screen.

Was anyone impress how calm, cool and strategic Thanos was?

Strategic wise Ill put him up with heath ledgers joker.

Thanos was always 2 steps ahead of the heroes. Hell, hes been the one reaching out to stark with those nightmares and
used him all along.

Dude never lost his cool or let emotions get to the best of him. Its also ironic how a character can be so emotional but ruthless at the same time.

Simply put, it was a perfect comic book/super hero movie imo. I liked that they started with action from start to finish. The jokes were in good balance this time (not like Ragnarok, where it was a bit too much). Visuals were good, audio was good.

I really liked Thanos as well. It's nice to see a villian getting the job done for once. No bull chit, just straight up going for what he came to do and succeeding.

James Gunn already announced that he's returning to write and direct GOTG Vol 3 and a post-credit scene alluded to that.

So obviously Thanos snap was not effective.
Yeah if you think all those characters are staying dead, you're a bit thick

Black Panther 2, Spiderman 2 films are all-but confirmed. Doctor Strange 2 almost certainly as well, and you think they're just throwing away all the Guardians of the Galaxy? They'd have practically killed off the entire 2nd generation of heroes.

My bet is the 2nd part of the film (next year?) will see most of those deaths reversed with the guys that stayed alive. Iron Man and Captain America are 100% going to die, Thor and Hulk very possible too.

Just occurred to me....

When they had Thanos sedated why didn't Strange just create a portal and cut Thanos' arm off like what happened with the Black Order guy?

as for captain marvel... it's stupid to add somebody to save the day with the introduction being so late into the marvel movie lifecycle. ideally captain marvel should have come out between thor2-3. they're more than welcome to pull it off the captain marvel movie will need to be amazing to get people vested into her character this late. if that movie doesn't kill it, then most fans will be upset in avengers 4. to me at least, it has nothing to do with sjw nonsense. it's just that i'm vested into thor, hulk, captain america, iron man, etc because they had so many movies building this up. captain marvel has nothing right now.

edit: i'll also add that i like brie larson and i think she's capable of pulling this off. she's a solid actress
You're worrying about nothing. There's no way they end the 10 year MCU run of the original Avengers by having some random newcomer beat the main villain of the whole saga at the last minute. It's just common sense.

Lol true. Why didn't he do that in every fight always? He could have cut Thanos in half/decapitated him at any stage.

Best not to think to hard about these kind of things I guess

Because movie would be over.

Possible in universe explanation: You can't create a portal inside someone. Black Order guy moved into an existing portal that closed on him. They could have opened a portal near Thanos but they couldn't physically move him through the portal, they could only restrain him

(spoiler)
Marvel killed off the newer characters and preserved the original crew (founding members) for the fourth movie:

probably going to go find thanos for the time stone and rewind time to save everyone, antman and wasp are most likely stealing the time stone, and rocket didn't die because he's piloting the ship to thanos, so the only people that can't be revive are gamora, heimdal, and loki. they could save vision if they could get the mind stone.
