Either cast by capability or cast by a specific "look" or background, but don't go cherry-dicking around with these vacillating moral and/or ethical standards because that only goes to invalidate their professed "social justice."

The whole obsession seems so vapid and ass-backwards because by placing so much undo emphasis on race/ethnicity, they are proliferating prejudice rather than stemming it in any fashion. Furthermore, it is even more asinine when looked at from a broader, global scope; this type of strange disproportional casting catering doesn't occur in anywhere else in the world where there is comparatively far,farless diversity. Other countries aren't preoccupied with trying to score social brownie points by throwing a few random white or black actors into a Chinese or Indian movie. For all the pretension in Hollywood, they have abandoned their already stretched thin concept of "art" in favor of focus group testing and trying to appease Twitter soapbox trolls.

The biggest positive with her is that after Suicide Squad and Valerian, her price probably dropped closer to bargain bin levels.The Netflix logo popping up on a new show is now akin to a tramp stamp on a fat chick.
Netflix needs to rethink their strategy of bombarding the proverbial wall with enough gorilla-sized sh*t in a vain attempt to see what sticks because despite their objective to "become HBO before HBO becomes [Netflix]," they have instead become the used Redbox DVDs for sale.

Their shows lack the same kind of gravity that allows them to gain and maintain a loyal following no matter the bad decisions made or poor marketing because they are constantly throwing more digital feces at the Netflix homepage to swamp out the previous Original releases.

In their efforts to have a nonstop stream of new content, they have created a platform predicated on attention deficit disorder where each new show might as well be a full-season pilot because who evenknowsif it will be renewed or how long it will be until the next season. Then a new show or movie hijacks the homepage, wiping the collective memory of whatever that little experiment was they had on before. How can they maintain a degree of "hype" or excitement towards a series when the majority of their content is a transient experience with no guarantee of a future? How does one become invested inanythingwhen Netflix is so fickle that it might just end up being cancelled anyway, so you're stuck with 1 season and a cliffhanger.

Couple that with Netflix's overall lack of quality control, and they make it all too easy to flat out skip a show - especially if it pisses people off.
