Probably pisses the gym owner off because that bends db's as well as sends them bouncing onto someone's foot.
But some people need to create as much of a racket as possible when lifting to draw attention to themselves, so carry on.

I refuse to read all of this fkry but OP clearly trains at Curves or Planet Fitness if he see's nobody benching 85lb dumbells. Hell I saw a bull dyke tossing around 90's the other day but she wasn't natty at all... She obviously had more knowledge of cell tech than 99% of the twinks in there

Pretty sure anyone that can bench 225 can do 85's easily.

on the topic of this thread, 85 lb dumbells for reps on flat bench aint sh_t. and average size of gym members really depends on the gym you go to. ive been to gyms where every fukn dude there looks like hes been taking cell tech for years. no doubt those guys could rep way more than 85 lb dumbells.

Because of the misc, I've begun to realize that not only am I the weakest guy at my gym, but I'm probably the weakest guy in the world.

After I do barbell bench I generally do 5x10 with the 180s for volume.
The 25lbs increments between the dumbbells st the higher weights at my gym makes doing more problematic.
I can lift the 220’s and do 5 reps but it is very taxing getting them in position and just not worth it for volume.
So 185 isn’t that impressive Op.

I quit the gym for months and I’m skinny as phuck now (170lbs at 6ft tall) and even I can get the 47.5kgs (105s) on flat dumbbell bench, I do get weird looks though because I only see roiders doing this weight in the UK

Hundos aren’t that bad mang. True though I don’t really see any one in the gym I go using heavy dumbbells. Do see a ton of heavy half rep bench. Basically zero squatting.
