^ Cucked so bad lol

My T dividend was paid in cash and doesn't show the re-invested shares I'm supposed to get (I've always had the re-invest option check-marked). Never seen this happen so I called Schwab and I guess this is normal, sometimes you'll get a cash payment and there's a delay then the next day it auto-buys the T shares. I do not recall seeing this ever in the 6ish years I've been holding T, anyone notice this chit?

Learned something new today

t can blow me.

Etrade reinvests without a problem, picked up a whopping 3.3 shares lol. I’m marginally up because of the div and holding on to this dog for almost 6 years.

Pover T

You gotta put at least 15k into T in order to see any decent yields imo, it does look like the stock is gonna run up a lil more from here rn too

Bought some PLTR, FCEL, COIN and AAPL (not much just a few hundred of each). I'm thinking there could be a melt up coming soon. Saw charts about how hedge funds have been shorting the last few weeks with only company buybacks offsetting it to avoid a huge plunge. Also bought more Rogers commodity ETFs (bought more RJA). Put a few thousand more in that. All those ETFs made me about $400 last month.

I guess in the long term it's a no brainer. I'm just not sure if I want to do it, because I decided to allot 10% of my earnings towards retirement, which is already going towards my 401k. If I were to do the bare minimum to get my company match, the remainder would allow me to fully invest in the roth and still stay within the 10% limit of my earnings.
Yeah, tbh I was very surprised as was the former employee I know at the initial pricing. Him unpleasantly, me very pleasantly.

If someone has asked me the day before Palantir started trading if I would go all in at a $40 billion valuation with what I knew then, I’d say yes.

Now we know more and as far as the long term outlook the news has only been reinforcing and elevated my long term outlook. So short answer, Yes!

Now a longer answer if you’re interested: In the short term I have some annoyance with their transparency regarding SBC for execs and to the extent they plan to line their pockets. In the long term it doesn’t matter, which is my concern! I could easily see Karp, etc. rationalizing that they know Palantir will be a 20x, that it doesn’t matter to the long term investor that they reward themselves with absurd stock grants, in fact I could see someone like Karp believing he has a moral obligation to do so, shake out those trying to use Palantir as a vessel for long term gain, and to adequately enrich themselves for creating the most important company for the future of Man.

If the SBC was being used primarily to retain talent long term, add a sales force, etc., I wouldn’t mind, but this looks like a direct wealth transfer from shareholders to Karp, etc.

So basically what it comes down to is I couldn’t be happier with how the IRA has performed, although I’ve pulled off a few percent here and there to put into WFC, a little COIN, and I’m actually hoping to peel off a bit if they go gangbusters with earnings.

In my trading account one has to only look back to demo day performance and my meek anticipation of earnings to see my frustration and disappointment (and largely personal mistakes) with short term developments.

I can literally envision Karp sitting in bed watching the stock drop and smiling, telling himself “I told them if they wanted returns in the next two years, they should look elsewhere” and he’d fukking be right lol.

Ended up positive in the trading account for the day after the $22 calls moved in the right direction, funny lol. Down bigly in IRA FML.

IF and ONLY IF the universe rolls the dice in my favor and a miracle occurs, and Palantir gets to $26 after earnings for the 5/14 calls, I will be even after the demo day fiasco. Otherwise it adds to my poor decisions list that led to me being poor. Prayers for the reckless these next few days.

you guys are over reacting.

its very likely that this was coordinated.

these headlines happen ie few weeks ago it was marginal tax rate that market went crazy and next day dip was bought up quick.

remember when trump used to tweet market was all time high…hour later market sold off. (go find that graph it was 100 percent effective over and over.)

I think these dips say more about the overall health of the market than the market breaking ATH multiple times this year.

The time of long, consistent bull runs are over now.
