For VE you said the equivalent number is 0%, but that's the lowest CI boundary across the 4 separate conditions.
19% and 0% represent different things. It seems odd to compare them directly.
I guess given your across-condition collapsing, the comparison would be 0% to 0%
Does that suggest previous infection and vaccines afford the same level of protection to omicron?

cold and flu season
haven't gotten so much as a sniffle during the last few years and i go out every weekend at least 1 day
have had sick friends/girlfriends coughing in my house for hours and still nothing
legit can't imagine being a panicel
at first i was pissed off at them but i now realize that the hell they've created for themselves is worse than any punishment i could give them

The first is in a common misunderstanding of what frequentist confidence intervals represent.
A frequentist 95% confidence interval means that with a large number of repeated samples, 95% of such calculated confidence intervals would include the true value of the parameter. In frequentist terms, the parameter is fixed (cannot be considered to have a distribution of possible values) and the confidence interval is random (as it depends on the random sample).
Second, you're assuming the lower bound of the CI from pooled estimates would be equal to the lowest CI boundary of the unpooled estimates. That's unlikely to be the case as there would be regression toward the pooled mean.

Big fonts have been useful so far.
J.L.C. did not understand the small fonts at all.
He seems to respond to big fonts as he can finally read some of the words.
Very hard to communicate without using big words.
He is also doesn't understand what the argument is.
He doesn't understand English?
Very sad he had to go to subpar beavercel preschool.
Even sadder he did not finish preschool.

Lots of retards like OP, especially in fear porn media running with that poorly worded sentence in the study.
Reality, which they acknowledge: they don't have data in their study to suggest ANY LEVEL of severity of Omicron. So they have no evidence Omicron is less severe than Delta, and they also have no evidence it is less severe than Ebola.

Are you disregarding that part of the study? Anachron's position is unrelated to severity and focused on zero protection from omicron infection from either previous infection or any of the classes of vaccination, which he bases on the lower bound of the 95% CI.
While I find it interesting that he contends previous infection and vaccination afford equivalent protection, I feel his argument is logically flawed for the reasons outlined above.

However, you argued that statements should be based on the lowest bound of any 95% CI and that both estimates should be zero based on that contention.
