Another incoming patch to fix performance mode
Square Enix will release a patch for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to improve the graphics of its Performance Mode.
Speaking to One More Game, Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi said one of the main pieces of FF7 Rebirth player feedback Square Enix has received so far is regarding the graphics in Performance Mode, which prioritises a consistent frame-rate.
"We’ve received a lot of feedback on whether the graphics in the performance mode will be improved or not," Hamaguchi said. "We hear you, and we are currently working on an update patch to improve that aspect. I don’t think the release date would be far away from now."
One part of this patch will focus particularly on the lighting on character faces in certain parts of Rebirth, he added. "We have heard from players that in certain situations, the facial lighting makes some character shadows look very scary. So that’s one part of the update that we are working on."
This isn't the first time graphical complaints have arisen around Rebirth despite it launching just a few days ago on February 29, as the demo released by Square Enix earlier in February also raised concerns. The developer made "minor graphical fixes" and other adjustments which were also applied to the full game, after the likes of IGN's own performance review said Performance Mode comes with a "drastic clarity and detail reduction".

I'm skeptical about them fixing Performance mode lol
It took the tech geniuses at Guerilla 6months to fix HFW's performance mode. But they cooked and it turned out amazing after several failed attempts.

JFC....realized i never played the remake, so started that on friday. I cant put the game down. The nostalgia and feels is off the charts. Cant wait to get to reborn.

im fuking pissed as hell.my deluxe edition box is banged up on the corners.this is bullchit.i already overpaid for it and theres nothing i can do about it.the artbook and steelcase are awesome though.dont care about the soundtrack even though the music is GOAT

I just got the nail bat. It looks fukking retarded and so i started looking and realizing theyre all the "same" once you upgrade, they all just provide a new skill to learn.

I’ve just been doing all the side quests before I cross the swamp lol.
I’m 9 hours in. Just trying to explore every nook and cranny and whatever side thing comes up.
I really don’t see how they could have made this game better. It’s a ****in delight.
Like what more could they have done??? Kalm in itself is big and super detailed, felt alive.
Can’t wait to see other towns I.e. gold saucer

Anyway hope yall are having a great time with the game. Even though it's my 3rd playthrough of Remake it's been enough time of a gap where I'm still able to have fun and feel nostalgic. I only just set off with Aerith in her village to do quests, have a long way to go but I'm super pumped for Intermission. Fuark.

It depends how big of a gamer you are but this game is worth buying a console for assuming you could get a used one for less and then sell it when done
