Are you aware of the various studies that show that women find more masculine looking faces more attractive (or less, I forgot) when they’re ovulating? That is just one quick and easy example of the fluidity of attractiveness. There are 100s if not 1000 more factors just like this.

Another example. Say a woman goes out at night with her friends and bumps into a guy. At first, she’s not attracted to him at all. But as the night rolls on, she discovers he’s insanely fun and funny and entertaining, etc, and a brilliant person to be around. By the end of the night her attraction to him will grow.

TL;DR: Attraction is nowhere near as binary as you try to make it out to be. It’d be more accurate to say it’s in a state of flux and influenced by a whole range of factors.
