It doesnt mean anything to me because its anecdotal and I also dont have the full story. You can come up with false conclusions that way, which is why we do not base our understanding of anything on a few people that one guy knows.

One time in HS track there were some no-shows and I got bumped up to the fastest heat for the 1600m with a bunch of guys from a school with a pretty elite team. I ran the mile 30 seconds faster than I ever had merely because I was running with faster people and didn't want to fall behind. It was crazy to realize I could have been running that fast all along with a different mentality.

100000% this. The mind is a crazy thing man. It rises to the occasion (to a certain limit of course) but most people dont tap even 20% of their possibility (including myself)
But I have experienced this same thing in many facets of life. Perfect example.

To apply this to OP's thought on this and many other threads.

"Well I cant be rich"

My question. Why the F not? Its not like your time is preoccupied with other super important things like dating women or hanging with socialites. Go dive deep into something. Become an expert at it. Solve a major problem. And things will fall into place.

Ok, and I've gotten women without being rich, with an even worse attitude than I have now, and hobbies never mattered whatsoever.

So, almost like different things work for different people. I'm doing it this way, because its what worked for me. you dont have to like it.

I said what my plan is in the OP, this isnt an advice thread. Im not asking for it.

They are consistent (discipline)
They are focused
Time is a valuable resource
They are ADAPTABLE

He's actually not a troll sadly--he had another account on the misc before it was banned, and has posted pics several times back then (years ago) and more recently. He was also college friends with a guy who used to post regularly on the misc who vouched it was all true (he was a cool guy and had no reason to lie).

BBMG, I just wanna say one more thing...

I don't know why and I don't need to know why, but recently you seem EVER SO SLIGHTLY less of a dickhead than you used to be. It's subtle, but you've definitely "softened" just a touch IMO. Maybe you're going through some phase and will revert to the norm eventually, I dunno.

Anyway, whatever it is, try to keep it up. Chit, build on it if you can.
