I know im late but this Speedmaster was one of my favourite pieces from Basel World 2016. I'm still day dreaming about it lmao:
Spoiler!
The watch with the most buzz and possibly will be sold out before it even comes to the market is the Speedmaster CK2998. The original CK2998 was released in 1959 and has since become one of the most sought-after vintage Speedmasters in the world. With its Alpha hands, symmetrical case and dark bezel, it is desired by speedy collectors.
This color has been used on all three subdials, as well as the minute track and a polished ceramic bezel with tachymeter scale. The tachymeter scale is also coated in Super-LumiNova for increased visibility in dark conditions. There is a blue leather strap with beige stitching and a polished buckle.

Top 5 laundry detergents in the game (don't judge my opinion):
1.Tide (delivers a clean and fresh style of)
2.Oxi clean (attacks dry stains like a monster)
3.all (deserves a spot in the top 5 but not the best)
4.wisk (I respect the stain spectrum tech. But needs to fight harder for that top 3)
5.purex (up and coming in the game)

Watchngars, you still enjoying that quartz gs diver of yours?
I've been drawn back to it. I like the idea of having quartz divers. Torn between the white and black one, thinking about adding a new version of the Darth tuna as well.

Do any of you gents know which model is on the left?
It's suppose to be a Seiko 5 sport diver around 35-38mm. That's the perfect size for me because tfw baby wrists.

Played around with some different Perlon bands on the Sinn 556 tonight and wasn't really feeling any of them, nearly lost my chit trying to get the springbars back in before the internet told me to know a piece of dental floss over the lug and just pull…. phucking top 5 life tip right there… never done anything so easily.
Putting the bracelet back on was another story… never had to deal with end links before and the little flat base Sinn put on theirs makes it infuriating, ended up with scratches despite my best efforts.
Phuckers must have a special tool to pinch both sides at once IMO.

I'm 6'1 160 and a 42 mm looks good on me, 40 is bare minimum I would go. But….my wrists are relatively flat so it cradles the watch nice

Thoughts on wearing a dive watch with a formal suit? To be specific going to interviews and such professional events?
I posted before in part V about getting a Omega Speedmaster but didn't want to deal with the customs and taxes in the country i was living in then.. Now I'm in Aus i can import and just pay 10% GST.
However maybe spending 3k on a used speedmaster professional isn't the wisest thign to do for me right now, so I've been looking more at Seikos, specifically the Seiko 5 and the Seiko Monster. Since they are much more affordable I could buy several of them including a dress watch but then if it's ok to wear a diver with a suit I won't bother since I don't really wear a suit that often and can just keep that money to save up for a speedmaster professional down the road..
Also any manual wind watches under 1k? After looking at the speedy for so long i warmed up to the idea of getting a old-school winding watch..

Debating on purchasing a Steinhart Pilot to go with the Stowa. Or perhaps an Archimede.
