I don't care what he says. To me he is and always has been a better prospect than Darnold. And I really like Darnold. But his hype went from some to out of the roof after the Penn St. game. Rosen is the fukkin truth, though. I'm all in.

How these guys act does matter though. That's why a guy like Kaepernick doesn't have a job right now. Some GM can take that "school and football don't go together" as a sign that Rosen doesn't like to study…even when it comes to football.

He may be a total football junkie but these guys have to learn what they say is being judged. Zip it and play ball.

It's tough for GMs to judge if a guy is cocky in a confidence way like Aaron Rodgers or cocky in a douche nozzle way like Ryan Leaf.

I think the whole attempts at censoring a players voice is silly. Unless it gets out of hand aka kaps kneeling all the time and drawing publicity.

These guys are humans, and young men. They have a right to express themselves without fearing draft position repercussions. If the kid is good he's going top 5. Him saying he doesn't agree with how NCAAF is managed shouldn't and won't affect anything. At least I hope that would be the case.

Even Greg Hardy got another opportunity. If you can ball, you can ball, don't pencilneck yourself.

I think it was clear he was just saying that being a full time athlete and a full time student is near impossible. Thought it was a quote way overblown.

100% agree.

We want our athletes to say something other than what their PR guy tells them to say, but once they do we tell them to shut the fuk up.

Kap is completely different though. He just became a huge distraction and still is, and nobody wants a distraction at the backup QB spot.

I agree once I read the context it wasn't bad at all but the guy is known for having an ego. Like I said, you want to make sure it's an Aaron Rodgers type cockiness and not Ryan Leaf type.

Very nice video. Great to see how the culture with the team is changing. Get a lot of comments from the vets and some of the younger guys. Very nice to hear from Lynch and Kyle.

Yeah definitely cool to see. Honestly I would've loved if we could've been on hard knocks this camp. So many potential new starters/roster guys. Lots of undrafted free agents with a real good shot to make the team this year. Would've been cool to follow some of them.

Rashard not looking good at all until a nice step up and tackle in run coverage then a nice pick and return, pressure on the QB sure helped.

Offense has looked meh.

Deforest Buckner out with ankle hopefully not serious.

Who is this Bourne kid? He can play.

Beatherd showing me some nice things too. And Thomas flying all over the field. This is the only team who I get excited about watching in the 4th quarter of a preseason game lol

Awefull to see all the penalties. That needs to get tightened up. Good to see the rookies play well but clearly our issue is what we all expected…OL and secondary.

Hopefully Buckner gets that ankle healthy. We'll need him at 100%.

Beathard did some good things but it's preseason. One thing about him is he's going to stand in there and throw. Get him a good OL and he can do some good things. Kind of crazy but when was the last time we had a QB throw a proper fade?

Aaron Lynch is playing for a contract for sure.

I was happy to see solaman play and fly around. Didn't see much of foster.

Trent Taylor is my favorite preseason player so far.

He definitely should've had that. Hopefully once the real games start he'll get those pulled in.

It was nice to see the top 5 pff grades from the game belong to young players(somewhat expected given playing time but still)

Thomas was top dog with 88
Bourne
Aaron Lynch was the only non rookie on the list
Matt Breida
Reuben Foster with 82

Hopefully Solomon and Reuben keep playing great together and helping each other up their game and the rest of the defense.

I like our D this year. The line has a ton of potential. It's gonna have its up and downs, I guess we'll really know how good it is week 7 against Dallas and week 8 against Philadelphia. Bowman and Foster gonna help a lot against the run. I'm a fan of Robinson. He didn't play great in the game on Friday but I like him as a legit starting cornerback. Safeties have potential but I'm assuming we're gonna give up some big plays.

Could just be preseason hype but I think our defense can keep us in games. And our offense could have some good moments, although be very inconsistent.

The sharp guys in Vegas are betting the over on our season win total of 4.5 games. It'd be nice to watch a 6-10 team (oh how far we've fallen) that's in a lot of games with a young defense.

I liken our team to the 2014 Texans. Rookie offensive head coach and a team that was in a lot of tight, low-scoring games. They went 9-7 after going 2-14 the previous season. I don't see us doing that well but the Texans also benefitted from being in a terrible division. But their offense just revolved around Arian Foster and a young, talented defense, which could be us if Hyde stays healthy.

Maybe I'm too optimistic but this team should be fun to watch this year after the previous couple of seasons where I didn't even want to watch anymore after the first month.

I love the fact that Solomon Thomas thought there was a lot of room to improve on his play the other day. Total opposite from Leonard Fournette who didn't even play that great but felt like the NFL is slow lol.

Guys who are never satisfied with their play are the ones more likely to succeed in this league. Glad to hear that Thomas is someone who will keep working his ass off to be the best.

I think another ankle…not sure what's up with our ankle injuries this year…though I guess I'd rather ankle than knee.

Wonder what the odds are that any of these 4 guys is our starting QB next year: Rosen, Darnold, Jimmy G, Cousins.

Here's my take on it

Cousins - 80%
Jimmy G - 40%
Rosen - 20%
Darnold - 5%

I think Cousins is easily the best bet to be our QB next year out of that set. Rosen is likely best chance out of the 2 draft prospects listed. I think Darnold goes #1 overall if he declares and I simply don't see a way Jets will be drafting us.
