If the game isn't feel as smooth as you were hoping, I recommend you open up GeForce Experience(if you have an Nvidia card of course) and click on CP2077 in the games menu and hit optimize. I was getting decent FPS but after I let GeForce Experience optimize the settings for me, the game runs incredibly smooth and IMO looks better.

got the game on ps4 and its pretty bad, I dont even feel like playing it unfotunately. played like 6h yesterday, no crashes but it looks pretty bad, very dark. I did the mission where you go get the robot, got into a shootout, its was so chaotic, I could barely tell whats going on because of the frame rate and I just ran out of there passed like 50 guys because I couldnt take it, haha

Wandered into a random shootout and it said you can help or ignore. Started helping the losing side (2 on 4), killed the attackers and thought I did good. Then the ones I helped started shooting me too, killed everyone and looted everything. Fck being nice anymore.

I'm a casual gamer and that's why I prefer the simplicity of a console over a PC since you don't need any knowledge for it to play lol
but can someone explain to me how they could make Witcher 3 look amazing on PS4/XB1 but they don't seem to pull this off for Cyberpunk?
it's not the magnitude of the game since these are comparable apperantly, is it just the setting that's causing this (as in: open landscapes, nature, … in W3 compared to city, neon, cars, big buildings, ….)
noob question I know, but my reasoning for expecting better was literally "if they can just make it look as good as Witcher on this identical console I'm happy"

Apparently that’s to do with my knackered hardware but in 123 hours of Persona 5 it crashed three times in total.

Seriously considering buying a PS4 pro.
I feel let down but the game is starting to heat up and the systems are clicking into place and I have three days off work. So I’m still excited.

Well that's just fake news. The day 1 patch was the first step upgrading it to next gen and the upgrade will finalize in 2021.

I was a bit worried after seeing the bugs and performance/graphical issues people are having, but it runs surprisingly well for me and looks amazing in 1440p - RTX 2080 (RT off). Was expecting the visuals to be overhyped, but gotta say I'm impressed.
DLSS seems to be a must though, that setting alone is the difference between smooth and stuttery.

Go to cyberpunk's graphic settings all the way down and enable this and set it to 85, basically 85% of your resolution, you can go to 80% or 90% if you'd like.
then use radeon software's image sharpening
and bam, looks even better honestly than native, running everything on ultra (no RT cause vega 64)

I just got home from purchasing and am now installing the game on my PS4 Pro. I completely forgot about the release day, I think because of all the delays and I tried to avoid spoilers as much as possible
The employee in the store told me it might not work that well on the 'old gen' consoles, but I'm off work this weekend and the guy told me that he doesn't expect any new consoles in store in the upcoming months anyway
