Game is amazing. Been playing it for about 10hrs now on PC. Only ran into one glitch where i had to reload and it fixed itself.

I had already talked to a character and it kept telling me to talk to him with him having nothing to say to me. I reloaded and it fixed the issue.

don't see any hope for them being able to fix it completely on last-gen though, I guess they'll be able to patch it up a bit here and there but it's never gonna be a smooth experience

yeah the performance issues are annoying as hell and cdpr are shady for not being straight but man… I remember spilling bong water all over my ps2 and from then on having to play San Andreas where all the buildings would flash bright blue instead of having textures for half the game lol.

Figured out why I was stuck in hacker mode, fukken capslock hahaha tried every button but that one.

I did get stuck on an endless loop on a turret section but I guess an enemy clipped out or something, happens to me in most FPS games. And also a few t posers.

Put some good hours into this and playing it in a long stretch was the best thing to do, it legit is pretty damn fkkn good …. the story has picked up and I didnt realise that the title screen didnt pop up until that moment and it was pretty much a glorified prologue lmao … 13 hours in and only then did I hit the prologue.


Cut scene animation is mind boggling. I think they've set the bar for RPGs when you're talking with people.


It's still very "gamey" and the game does have its faults/bugs/shortcomings, but overall its more or less hitting my expectations ….. I think the skillup review does a good job of putting my thoughts about the game so far. I do wish the city was more reactive to you and that there were different like things you could do …. Rockstar seem to be the best at that sort of thing, or even the Yakuza devs.



Story/narrative wise though there were some moments that were pretty out of left field that was super odd and just comes out of nowhere and you're left thinking like "uhh why is V reacting like that" …. I still dont like V though and his voice/delivery is pretty damn cringe and super one note …. geralt had far more nuance and "personality" if that makes sense.

If you want decent frames and looksmaxxing the game

volumetric options turn to medium, cascade shadows low …. RTX turn off shadows, but keep reflections and lighting at medium with 1080p dlss quality …. apart from a few stutters here and there its pretty damn good …. I just need to use something like rivia prolly to lock it in but too lazy coz i just wanna go keep playing the game lol. Im running at 45 fps tho, so your mileage may vary, but its pretty damn nice. Game looks better than anything on my ps4 or pc save for maybe tlou 2 ….. This is prolly the best looking game overall imo. The character models, and especially the materials they use for the characters and the detail / art is exceptional.

Even disregarding the bugs / performance issues for the game …. To say that far cry 5 looks better than this game is a straight up lie. I know tastes can be subjective but just plain wrong.I can only assume you're playing this on some 1080p monitor or a bad display…….Maybe hook up both your best gaming pcs that money can buy to an Oled and then cash me outside breh.


The game looks unreal on oled …. and even thats on a 2060 super.


The only thing you can justiably say bad about this game are the bugs …. some of the bugs are pretty bad and seeing them just takes me out of the experience or messes with it when I have to reload an older checkpoint or restart the game.

CDPR behaved exactly like one of the money grubbing corporations from their game. They deliberately prevented console owners from seeing how the game ran on consoles before release.

Not a bad plan. I’d assume it will be singing by then. TW3 on XoX is like native 4k rock solid 30, hdr beautiful etc. but took a while to get there…though I played on base Xbox one when I was a pleb and loved it so who knows. The master race will spoil you forever. Hard to go back

Correct me if I'm wrong (srs) but didn't CDPR at least also say that anyone who bought the game for, say, a base Xbox One would be able to get the "upgraded" game for free if they got one of the new consoles like a Series-X?

anybody notice how cars in the city basically have no ai? same with pedestrians really. cops spawn 10 feet away from you right after committing a crime no matter where you are. game is starting to look pretty garbage tbh. no patches are gonna fix stuff like this.

Yea, free next gen upgrades. Game will be fine when pS5 and SX versions come out I am sure but plenty of people will play on base last gen systems where the game is pretty much unplayable.

Currently downloading it to my very old like 2016/2017 model ps4. The crappy one with 250gb space or whatever it is lol this bastard holds like 3 games max at a time.

Super annoying. Definitely getting an external hd or just a bigger internal one when I upgrade. Friends told me I wasted money buying the game on ps4. But I'll see how it goes.

Hard to keep RTX on unless I'm cruising along. With the other tweaks I can get 60 FPS even in many busy action moments, and it got at worst to 40-45 in the most NPC dense areas. Hate stuttering in an action game tho so for now no looksmaxxing for me.

I see many Cyberpunk forums in full meltdown mode not only over performance and bugs but also things that are lacking in the game lol. Even though I never expected, or wanted to approach the game GTA-like, that's exactly what the marketing proposed so there should've been *some* work to make pedestrians responsive and have actual police chases.

Was messing around with this idea but decided to go with a dude who looked like me. I figured if I had to role play, which is what the game is about, playing as a chick would be a little weird.

Went through the menu system and the game "feels" so much like Witcher 3 even down to the kinda laggy menus. Lol.

Let's be real, if it's playable I'll do so afer my FF12 playthrough. But the game is nowhere close to as smooth as Horizon. And on base ps4 there are towns filled with people in Horizon. And also large towns on Witcher 3.

Even if I grant you that CP is more demanding, I am 100% this game could be optimized on PS4 to look way better than it currently does. Yall PC brahs have no clue how ass it looks atm loll
