Who here has played Earthbound and beat it? This game is really really cool. So immersive, has so much info and events for an RPG of its time. Also like how it shows reactions of people in your team as you're fighting. It's also dark in some things, the people the way stuff occurs. Trying to put stuff without spoiling even if it's an old game. But it's so much fun, nice ost and loved wandering around Onett. Always wanted to see what Onett looked like.

I know I could've rom'd it since 2008, but I wanted to play it on the TV or the switch as an authentic experience and now I can. Hell yeah


Would be amazing if they put out mother 3 with better graphics, maybe a style like Link's Awakening. That game was dark. Anything could happen.. I would've not thought they would release earthbound with ness much less the one with ninten

Guise, I was wrong on Metroid Dread. LOL'd at the fact that it's side scrolling and the praise it got.

Well downloaded the demo, the atmosphere of the game is amazing, creepy and intense. It looks promising but don't like the fact that it's a short game

Gamecube style controller is a fail, oh well, it was only 18 dollars, not a major loss. I play better with the wireless controller I got previously which has a very strong rumble vibration effect(for only 20 dollars) Pic of this HQ 20 dollar controller below. It's built like a tank for only 20 dollars. It's mostly how you use the controller, not so much which controller you use that determines if you win or lose in the game.

That took my many hours to achieve! It’s not that short given how many times you’ll die in the game. Everything about Samus is sexy.

Yeah I do see that you can die tons of times in the game, even then it has this unique atmosphere of dark space and hopelessness that keeps you going. I'm probably gonna pull the trigger on this even though I have a backlog of switch games

big Nintendo fan but if you take out all the WiiU games the list of A+ Switch exclusives is pretty disappointing imo

My boy. That game was amazing, legit had a special feel to itThat is disappointing for sure. GC was dope af cuz it had game after game. Switch has been slow , 5 years and not much of new content. Shame.

I'm glad to have not grown with the Wii U gen and owned it now I can catch up on good games on the Switch

I never fully played anything on Wii U except pikmin 3

These titles took off on a much better system imo so I guess I consider them switch titles.

I played the full Kirby demo and man was I ever impressed. It’s preorders for me.

Triangle strategy
Another demo I dived into and am past chapter 1 (progress Carrie’s over into full game btw) and I fully appreciated the voice acting of the cast. The turn based battles and planning every characters moves out for your overall strategy… fuuuuu I haven’t cared or had to think this much in a game . Well in a long time. I’m going to continue through the demo then if I’m hooked by the end I shall buy the game.

If you're into Pokemon games, Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl have been fun

I love this game, was a big fan of it's heritage -- which is far more Tactics: Ogre than FFT, but either way, it's a really engrossing game. Great OST, visuals speak for themselves, the tactical combats are pretty awesome (and remind me more of Vandal Hearts than any other game it's usually compared against).

The elephant in the room is the massive amounts of cut scene dialogue. It's not overwhelming for me but if anyone said it wasn't for them, I can see why and would understand completely. It's a lot. If you are not invested in the story, it's only going to get worse as the game goes on. While the first demo chapters probably are the heaviest I've seen (I'm at chapter 8), it's still a lot of story and you need to care about these characters and what is going on to fully enjoy this title.

Kirby demo was solid. Definitely worth getting.

I was enjoying the dialogue last night when I played it. Something about just sitting back to “play” a game by hitting A over and over to get to the next line of dialogue. They so fun for me and although they are able to be skipped, none of its skip worthy for me. I enjoy the story that is being told. I love zelda but I have wanted more voice acting and less text only. So far it’s good. I gaf aboud the characters thus far blue eyes blonde guy, pink haired girl, the healer, the guy on the horse, etc. the 3 ruling lands thing.

Already played the DS version, not really interested in replaying it. Arceus legends looks cool , Scarlet starters look like those leaked fake starters from years back lol
