Whole smile and nod in agreement **** is getting old with customer service. Thing about retail is it's such a menial job that you have zero leverage because you're so replaceable.
There's been a push to raise min. wage to $15 in Alberta by 2018
Too bad I can't capitalize on that chit, probably gonna be in professional school by then

What other job experience do you have?
I've worked in the restaurant industry too; both as a server and cook

Speaking of which, think that would be a business idea on the side, they don't know what poutine is here for the most part, maybe I could set up a stall on the weekend market and aware these leprechauns.
Poutine and hangovers go great

You should do well in Ireland.

Wouldn't increased min. wage means everyday stuff's gonna go up in price too though?

Used to work in a deli, hated working with food though because they get OCD about sanitation, which is good, I just don't want the headache or responsibility. Picky customers killed that job though…brb mortadella 0.014mm thick lol.

You're right I would be happier believing that… But I have also lived it. I didn't cheat, but after being in my first LTR, I had never been more disappointed at the lack of ability out there. It was just fukkin terrible. I get the whole first time jitters… but it was worse than that. If I have to finish myself off because you can't get me there… Nope. Then I started realizing it has a lot to do with knowing how your partner likes it. Cause, I'm not going to like it how your ex liked it, most likely. But that's what you know, so it's what you will try. Then, I will be disappoint.

increased min. wage –> staff cuts –> higher cost of living
not sure how NDP plans on bringing about this change
but california just implemented a $15 min. wage…

If you don't internalize what they say, it's not too bad. I don't do much CS anyways, I mostly do downstocking. Digging holes and **** though? Nah my back's not up for that.

Ha!! From what I remember of the Orillia police, they're always on the lookout for ways to bust you for anything and everything, probably because Orillia is extremely boring with not much going on.

I remember well one time I was about 13 at the skateboard park and wasn't wearing my helmet. An OPP officer cycled by on his bike and told me I had to wear a helmet and that I needed to go and get one. He then followed me home from the skateboard park on his bike a solid 45 minutes as I walked 30 paces ahead of him, just to ensure I had in fact gone home to get my helmet.

Orillia.

brah take an industry trade like I did, theres more industry than just oil. Also the min wage increase isn't a good thing and will totally butt hammer the slowing food/service industry right now.

So today I was suppose to have a phone interview. Was prepping all morning, notes laid out, all set and a few hours before the interview I get an email. They said that they had to cancel and on top of that they were not going to reschedule with me as they felt like they had enough candidates along with preferring to do an in person interview.

Well fuuk my life how much worse can this job search go?
