A lot of the Breitlings I've seen are aviation watches, which aren't my thing but that is nice.
If you see it, you can lift it.

I had this, was an absolute beauty, always got compliments on it. Wish I never sold it.

Thats for the smaller avenger II (43mm).

I actually have an original Avenger Skyland black dial on bracelet that I'm looking to unload if he's interested though. Like this (not my pic):

^sigh

It looks like a monkey took a **** on a keyboard and the input was used for the CAD file.

Do the seconds tick in synch? I hope you don't have OCD cuz from now on you'll think of them being out of synch with eachother whenever you look at your watch.

Atleast you didn't pay 200$ for it.

Depends on what you're looking for. First thoughts that come to my mind are either a G-Shock or an entry level Seiko mechanical.

Ye that one, its like 150-60 at costco, either that one or i'll order an orient online since they didn't have that brand at costco.

This was one of my options too orginally.

But not with that flag just the normal watch not the custom.

It's really up to you at that price point. Seiko manufactures all of their movements in house. They are all reliable so you really cant go wrong. Literally check amazon for "seiko automatic watch" and pick whatever works for you.

I think the look you are looking for you would be better suited with a Seiko 5 of some time with a diameter of 40-43 mm I can't tell what size those watches are but that Timex looks a little larger maybe 42ish. Check out what they have that interests you. Don't buy something you don't like just because people online tell you it's better than something you do like, because even if it is better (which it probably is from a functionality or value standpoint), it doesn't matter if it just sits on a dresser or doesn't please you to wear/own it.

Also check OrientUSA.com they have a bunch of entry level priced models with a nice finish and a solid movement. You can probably find something with a style you like, and it's a brand that has recognition in the watch world as respectable entry level watches.

I adjusted my Blue Ray myself and now it goes ~3-5 seconds a day fast which is better than my Orange Monster, i am really impressed.

im back kents..

posted a couple of weeks ago about buying my first analog watch and got a Seiko 5 Sports Automatic. As I mentioned ITT the braclet was way too big and I couldnt figure out how to remove the links. Ended up going to mall and getting it resized for 15 kangaroo dollars.. Need to buy the tool later so I can

Any ways I've been wearing it for little over 2 weeks now!

Here's a pic though im sure all of you have seen a Seiko 5 before

lol i didnt realize my wrist was so hairy..

The watch is surprisingly light and small. I thought 42mm case would look big on my 6.5in wrist but it looks just right.. I guess wearing Casio G-Shocks all my life has made me used to seeing larger watches.
I thought the bracelet would be uncomfortable but its quite easy to wear. don't even notice it. I even do cardio wearing it but take it off and revert back to the casio when lifting..

And that beings me to the only negative of the watch. The automatic movement. It keeps fukin dying on me all the time because most days I don't move much and sometimes I have to wear another watch. I notice that even with a full day of activity (like 2-4hrs of walking, going in a tram etc) it only gives a 24hr reserve and if i dont wear it the next day chances are that it will be dead by the middle of the day after..

I read some automatics can be wound using the crown but I don't think you can do that with a Seiko movement..

Probably need to buy one of those watch spinning things that spins ur watch while u sleep..

I can see why ppl love the Speedmaster Professional now
While you were partying I studied the Blade.
