Looking good boyo. I have both a sub and a GMT IIc with both bracelet styles, and really don't care much one way or the other. Glad you got one that works for you.

so you had the old style bracelet polished to look like the new style? i didnt even know that could be done
you can also add a rubber strap, that would make it more unique. and rubber is definitely very well suited to the sub.

The modern sub oyster bracelets are all brushed. Modern GMT's have polished centre links, polishing brushed surfaces and vice versa can be done very easily.

Sub looks good brah, glad you're happy and it's the first time i've seen a 16610 with PCL's!

^^^^ This…. I had a hard time deciding between the GMT II ( I believe) and the Sub. Loved the bracelet on the GMT abut wasnt crazy about the dial and green hand so jeweler suggested I polished the center links and wound up with that!

I had an elderly gentlemen as a patient the other night and noticed he was wearing a speedmaster on his wrist. A vintage one, and the first I've seen elsewhere IRL. I complimented him on it and said I had the same watch. He said "No, no you don't. Mine is special. It was gifted to me by Neil Armstrong." We sat there and talked about how he got it for a few minutes after. Color me impressed. Was a pretty cool experience.

One of my patients a few weeks ago had a gold Datejust on his wrist. I was mirin' hard.

He said he got it as a retirement gift.

Blade slipped while trying to change the battery on one of those damn swiss army w the canvas strap (which are notorious for being a pain in the arse). Sliced the fuk out of the top of the middle finger, across the knuckle about an inch or so. Would not stop bleeding and had to get stitches lol. Feels bad man.

Hello all,

I am sure most of you have heard of the Seiko Turtle. Here is one going on ebay for $223:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SRP779K1-SEI...0AAOSwPc9W1V4v

Other dealers are selling them for $350+. I purchased one, even though I think seiko sucks. I've asked the seller to please inspect my watch for defects (date alignment, bezel dents, bezel alignment) prior to shipping. I'll update you guys as to what happens, and possibly post a review for you guys.

Anyone else loling hard at how badly Christopher Ward fukked up?

This is the new logo. It will stay in the 9 o' clock position for the unforeseeable future. They will not replace their current line of watches, but instead will phase the current line up out with new models over time, bearing this logo. This brand now looks like it makes department store watches, similar to MK and Armani Exchange.

I dont hate it. They do change the ****ing logo about every two years tho. It's a nice and simple watch and they actually have a matching date window.

Looks terrible. Not a fan of the American Apparel looking logo. Don't like the location. So asymmetrical. Sad thing is I like pretty much everything else about their new designs. I like the new hands in particular.

Could you imagine if Rolex/omega changed their logo? The constant changes rob the brand of its identity.

The placement of the logo is fine. But their actual logo - the spelling of the Christopher Ward - looks like lazy ****. Cheap font, which does the placement no favours.

Reminds me of how I used to write my full name in kindergarten.
