for Switch I have the SE for Links Awakening, Astral Chain, Metroid Dread and Bayonetta

price quality they're always pretty reasonable imo IF you can get your hands on them lol

for games I'm 100% certain I'm gonna get and would be interested in getting the SE I always put in a pre-order at my local gamestore as soon as the game is announced

when a special edition is later announced they receive the number of copies they're gonna get and start calling everyone that pre-ordered that game chronologically

I've been a customer at that store for almost 25 years so I'm also "platinum", don't know if that is taken into account as well lol

Links Awakening limited SE I see available right now. I’m thinking on it. I grabbed Octopath Traveler too.

13 Sentinels and Fire Emblem Three Houses is on my switch rotation right now.

I got all 300 waddle dees in Kirby. Cleared all missions. Struggled in that final boss actually. But I don’t want to collect every copy ability it’s a grind I see. All in all, Kirby and The Forgotten Land is Kirby’s best game ever. Hats off Nintendo.

Playing super Metroid on snes. My god the game is still a glorious miracle. To this day. I’ve had practice in Metroid dread. It’s the same style. Just modernized graphics in dread obviously but I swear it game plays exactly the same.

lol. I love Super Metroid but they play so differently. Super Metroid is so much slower, with Samus moving like a tank.

I donated my switch lite to some kid in the Philippines. Feels good man. Good device, screen a bit small tho. Hopefully the right person got it. Recent Switch chip shortage these days means I probably could have resold it for some money. But I like the idea of someone in a developing country having it better

I do love the controller and graphical accuracy of Dread compared to the older (8-bit?). I guess it feels familiar to me a bit.

Like the differences I felt between god of war and god of war 2. Or like when San Andreas after I went back to vice city they felt slower and more primitive in controls and graphics . Dread is faster but I dunno it feels familiar old Metroid . same game On more modern system. Samus. She’s got more abilities, more speed, more moves and omg she’s ****ing gorgeous! That’s is a woman who got skills.

I have within the last year or so sold most of my more rare NES games. I still have about 60 or so. I have been working towards collecting only Gameboy related items. They don't take up as much space.

Yes that thread is the best damn 5+ page thread The Deathstroke has ever read.
Just collecting snes and sega genesis. The loose cartridges for the most part. There’s a highly recommended shop on Etsy that a YouTuber uses who can make the cartridge boxes for you to put yours classic retro games in. Makes them look all new in his mint snes box collection. Pretty dope. Nice plastic sleeve too.

Recently completed Link's Awakening. Great game.

Went back to try to finish Metroid Dread. Almost rage quit completely on Experiment No. Z-57 (Cataris) boss. There were definitely some cheap shots in that fight. It took me more than a dozen tries to defeat him. I was convinced at one point that it was glitched.

Speaking of Metroid Dread, I am a die-hard Metroid fan. However, as much as I hate to say it, I really loathe playing the E.M.M.I. sections. If they did away with them, I would love the game. I plan on finishing it this weekend.

Anyone else play smash better handheld mode? I'm bad against players online if I play monitor mode. I'm on point if I play handheld.

Also, anyone else think Sora is OP?

If you don't care about being competitive in games like smash, lite is an excellent alternative. And it's cheaper than an oled. Oled has better battery life tho
