Oh darn… Got myself expelled in less than 24 hrs lol.

I might give one of those fish burritos a try though eventually. Just gotta be careful what I get, bad allergy to shell fish has made me weary of any seafood. #epipens are like $1K

Breakfast burrito sounds bomb right now. My morning breakfast is coffee, and bread with peanut butter and honey. Sometimes eggs when I'm not feeling lazy. Waking up at 6 a.m. and eating a big meal is hard though, no appetite.

healthier man than me lol. My usual breakfast is either nothing, or a solid helping of McDonalds hashbrowns and mcmuffins.

RE: waking up @ 6AM…we must be different, cuz about 10-15 minutes after waking up, I start to get starving hungry for like 30 mins. Then it'll pass and I won't feel hungry for a while after lol.

I skip breakfast every now and then too. Yeah, we're definitly different though because typically when I don't have to eat, I won't start getting hungry till around 10:30 -11 a.m. and I always get up at around the same time. My body is just used to waking up early for work.

On the sour cream note though: hnnnnng love it! Little late to the party with that addition though lol.

I tried training before work like 4:30-5 a.m. workouts, but man my energy just isn't there. GOAT time for me has always been like 9-11 a.m., but now with work its betwen 4:30-6 p.m. Just hate getting home so late, relax for a bit, bed then do it all again lol. On that note 3.5 hours to freedom. Rest day today!

feels. i have been training at night for the last couple of months and i like it better better than mornings but thats cause theres a crowd at night and its kind of active and the energy is good. in the morning its not as busy so my motivation is lower without having to show mother ****ers who the man is. pre workout works the same morning and night tho so that helps.

here's the facts

mornings you are dehydrated and glycogen depleted so your workouts will never be as good compared to a meal or two in the system and a chance to get some high quality h20 in the soul

I have grown to love working out after work. I'm motivated to just get it done, and go hard. I on the other hand though can't stand when my gym is crowded lol. The people that use our squat racks (rarely) but when they do take FOREVER. We're talking 30mins plus, and I can't stand waiting to do the one thing I came in to do for leg days. Other than that we have plenty of other equipment, but in the mornings I just feel the most amped to get in a good workout, and set the tone for the rest of the day.

I dont believe this. I remember reading in muscle and fitness (10 years ago) that training after 10 am was better than training before 10 am, dont remember the science behind it tho i was 16 and probably didnt understand most of the article. however this is why i disagree with your reasoning:

a. glycogen and hydration at any point during the day is entirely dependant on the eating habits of the person in questions
b. As long as a person has a proper amount of sodium in their body they should not dehydrate during 8 hours of sleep in a climate controlled room
c. If one replenishes glycogen stores through out the day after training, why would the glycogen deplete during sleep prior to the following days training session?

Can confirm the vibe in the evenings helps mucho.

Lol at both. The typical miscer way of lifting. I'd turn dat arm day into chest day though. Easily my favorite muscle to workout dat bench press feel of holding a chit ton of weight up and then lowering it…..and then pushing it back up again so it doesn't crush and kill you. Nothing compares srs. Chest day > arms > back > legs. With shoulders having their own day in there every couple of weeks.

Think Imma take off early m8ts. Facility is closed and all my reports are done for today. Literally twiddling my thumbs at this point. Hell, even the boss left early lol.

I did a 12.5 hour day today and it only took me an hour and a half to get home. I might always do this.

a. glycogen and hydration at any point during the day is entirely dependant on the eating habits of the person in questions
b. As long as a person has a proper amount of sodium in their body they should not dehydrate during 8 hours of sleep in a climate controlled room
c. If one replenishes glycogen stores through out the day after training, why would the glycogen deplete during sleep prior to the following days training session?
a. Debatable
b. When you pee yellow in the morning, you dehydrated and hence why you look flat and lean. Now if you are a freak that drinks up until bedtime and have to piss in the morning then you got me there. I still like to see white piss before I hit the weights
c.) What happens overnight?

While muscle glycogen levels will not deplete significantly over night, the brain’s demand for glycogen as fuel will drain liver glycogen. It is common for a night time fast to deplete the liver from roughly 90g of glycogen storage to 20g, due to the brain’s 0.1 g/min glucose utilization rate. Since the main role of liver glycogen is to maintain blood glucose levels, basically a glucostat, regulating liver glycogen would be the primary focus of the pre-workout meal.

While consuming a quick shake or bar while running to the gym before dawn will not have an effect on muscle glycogen, it will prevent a hypoglycemic state by promoting glycogen release from the liver into the blood. The blood contains around 5g of glucose, with levels dipping in the early morning following sleep, and if that hypoglycemic state goes unabated, dizziness, nausea and reductions in motor skills will have a negative effect on exercise performance.

Despite early research indicating that consuming a high-carbohydrate meal within an hour of exercise will cause rebound hypoglycemia, further research has since refuted that finding, with a large variety of studies demonstrating that hypoglycemia can be avoided if carbohydrates are ingested gradually within 45 minutes of exercise. Practically, consuming food upon waking will maintain normal blood glucose levels, and decrease the risk of hypoglycemia; with the only caveat being the ability to stomach the meal.

5 years old, I guess if you're lifting weights it's not much of a big deal cause you use mostly muscle glycogen.

more research needed on optimal time to train…i guess whatever you are used to.

Maybe something here?

Research has supported the idea of two "target times" for great performance:

4 to 5 hours after waking
11-12 hours after waking
Bench 315x1 - Squat 415x1 - Deadlift 515x1 Total = 1,245
