Goodwin is awful.

It's nice to play with Seattle. The west has seriously fallen off. Maybe STL wins it?

Apparently Seattle plays by different rules than other teams…what a joke to not call holding on that TD.

I agree, but we have no business playing with them. Goodwin has to make that catche. We have a long way to go..:I'd love to beat Seattle but I'd love a QB more

Hoyer pick and Goodwin drop killed us today. But that said the passing game was MIA today and we really need that to get going. We gave this game away and it would have actually been a meaningful win after last weeks loss. We have zero TDs on the season which is terrible. That said the defense looks pretty good and I can't wait til Foster is back out there. This loss was pretty crushing tho considering how we could have won this game and it would put us tied for first and division win. We need to win Thursday vs. LA or season is done. Not that we are going anywhere but our division is **** and we actually could do alright there. Looks like LA is gonna lose which puts us only one back with one division loss so Thursday is a big game. The team needs a win bad and the offense needs to get its ass in gear, loved the run game today tho.

The way Cousins is looking without Shanahan I'm wondering if we'll do the smart thing and draft a Qb as we don't have near the weapons needed for him to succeed. Would rather start with Darnold, Rosen or Allen (although he looks horrible right now) than pay what Cousins will be asking.

If we had a decent QB that game was ours for the taking.

Defense played lights out and the dline played like we thought they could.

I knew we were going to lose so that wasnt a surprise. Russel Wilson squirms his way out of at least 5 sacks a game.

I personally don't want us going after Cousins.

Happy that Tomlinson played miles ahead of Beadles, cut his ass and get some other talent on the roster. Also, Ward played well first game back it seemed, sucks that Reid got hurt hope he's not out too long, wish he didn't try and come back today as he could have made it worse.

Buckner played well today and Armstrong a little better too, glad Lynch was out there, not sure why Harold is on the team he doesn't provide much IMO. Would have liked to see more sacks today, would have been even happier with better contain on some plays but part of that is due to slow read and react from LBs as well. Overall progress from last week just need to keep moving in that way.

I think Shanahan will continue to get better coaching and play calling wise and I think the defense should continue to improve, especially once Foster is back, would have been nice to have him not get hurt, and Malcolm Smith too but injuries part of the game.

Would like the offense to show up in the passing game as overall today was much better other than that. Quick turnaround and hoping for a win on Thursday.

Here are something I really enjoy seeing:

DI DeForest Buckner, 90.8 overall grade

T Joe Staley, 86.8 overall grade

T Trenton Brown, 86.0 overall grade

S Jaquiski Tartt, 82.6 overall grade

S Jimmie Ward, 81.3 overall grade

It is very nice to see this but still sucks when you cannot do anything on offense (other than run the ball). I honestly thought Hoyer would be better than he is. I considered him to be average or to slightly below average. Now I think he is garbage. The only things I look forward to this year is watching the defense play lights out like they did.

Hoyer being this bad in this offense is surprising. That was really the only thing he offered - knowing the offense and the performance against Minnesota who have a pretty good D in the "dress rehearsal" preseason game was encouraging.

He hasn't always had help with Goodwin having two big drops in both games so far and the OL play hasn't been superb but he simply needs to do better. He's missed big throws out there, he's thrown bad picks and he hasn't made the throws he needs to make because of what looks like fear.

I never thought he'd be someone who could be our starter moving forward but he's been very poor so far. He played pretty well for Chicago last year I was expecting him to build on that, he's goign the other way.

Hoyer sucks and he always will. Afraid there is nothing to build on and he is a backup QB. Unfortunately he's our only option this year until Beathard is ready. That int was really bad. He had a wide open passing lane with Wagner sitting there and he still throws it.

BTW I started to visit the webzone more but holy hell is that a dumpster fire. Its the same negative people freaking out over and over. I need to avoid that place from now on.

Same here, mostly because there's more active 49ers talk in the offseason(obviously) and also trying to distance myself from the misc but not sure which place is worse.

So much cringe around here but the more i post on the webzone the more I hate our fanbase

You're right the majority of them are negative morons…which is crazy to me because this season was clearly a rebuild.

Team isn't good enough to win making this many mistakes. They need to be perfect to have a chance. Shooting themselves in the foot makes it even more frustrating to watch. Let's hope this half is better.

Too many costly penalties and early turnovers by the defense. Need Foster out there and consistent pass rush.
