Got a scan coming up thursday 8/16/18. Hopefully will get the results the same day as well from my research coordinator.

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Lambert Eaton Myasthenic syndrome. (which is a side effect of the immunotherapy ive been on) Have been dealing with that the last 2-3 months and had to come off of my cancer treatment in order to treat it. Very scared about the scan results, as I just started feeling like i was living a normal life again.

on a different note, ive been back at the gym trying to hit it hard. Have been on prednisone the last few months so Im doing my best to avoid the fat/water/puffy look pred can give.

keep pumpin iron folks. God bless.

I had to call her. We decided to let my brother come to my scans bc he could bring better luck.

Tho my onc printed out the remission paperwork which i gave to her as her bday present and she cried so much.

Hey, congrats man. Read the first post and felt really sad, didn't realize it was from a year ago. Then saw the positive updates.

Congrats man! Couple of questions for you:

1) Do you have to go in for yearly scans to ensure it stays away?

2) Are you going to make any lifestyle/diet changes to help keep it away?

3) I had a mole removed this summer and they said it was precancerous and to watch if it comes back. Any idea what this exactly means? The tech on the phone didn't give me the best answer. I'm assuming it means conditions were favorable for it to become cancerous.
Union Strong. Workers are stronger together.
The GOP is a criminal organization who despises the middle class and working poor. Name one policy they have pushed for that increased worker pay, union strength, or worker influence in a corporation.

im currently on a clinical trial... so ill be getting 3month scans for most likely the next 5 years, as Hodgkins has an insanely high relapse rate. Especially for someone considered "primary refractory" which basically means my cancer is immune to chemo.

i havent made any huge lifestyle changes, but i made 1 significant one, which was quitting smoking cigarettes. Outside of that, i was always extremely healthy. there was nothing TO change.

precancerous means conditions are favorable. removing the mole was/is best route.
