just LOL at storm weakening and changing path every day and media spins it to sound worse and worse

"Monster storm's new path poses greater danger"

ib4 it putters out and goes off Florida coast

this is just like last year when the retards said Irma would completely demolish Miami so everyone evacuated and it ended up landing in Key West

This is definitely going to do something weird. Current euro model says getting to Wilmington, then doing a 360 and walking away down SC coast, then hitting landfall at Savannah and going into Georgia.

Florida is always involved in bizarre sht. I'm calling it now .
Florence will slam just south of Wilmington then backup head south and smash the Eastern Florida coast .

I live on the coastal boarder between NC/SC (SC side)..
Left this morning when the local weather man said it was going to hit Wilmington, then go south, and hover/stall over my town, 1 hr south of Wilmington.

Listening to the radio on the ride out, morning DJ said if he lived there, he’d haul ass. Because the local water and sewer company said they’re turning off the water at noon on Wednesday (today).

Love you guys be safe.
hope you have an upstairs and have prepared to stay in place. I'm just outside the cone but on the bad side so going to be slammed. Flood zone A, just off the river with creeks on both sides, which I have to cross to get out. Was just looking at the flood surge prediction and am now having second thoughts on staying, but I don't have anywhere to go, except maybe a hotel. Like, I might not be able to go downstairs in my house. Even if I could find a hotel within a few hours, I'll just be stranded there vs. here. If I go further out, who knows when I'll get to return. Rather have the home court advantage. Got food, fuel, water. Have a lot of stuff to move upstairs and things to secure outside in the next 24 hours.
God willing and the creeks don't rise, we're all gonna make it. See you soon, my dude.

You going upstairs because you fearing flooding? Near roof is too risky, air comes in, roof catches air, it's gone. I would find a four wall room on 1st floor with no windows closest to the center/interior of the house and stay there first. Only move into 2nd floor if flooding get's real bad. Did you place any sandbags as barrier?

Any of you brahs following Typhoon Mangkhut, a CAT 5 typhoon with 180mph winds and 200 mph gusts? About to wipe out the northern Philippines, Taiwan, and potentially Hong Kong.

The category at this point doesn’t matter too much. It’s grown in size and will dump a tremendous amount of rain on our area. We’ve been upgraded to 6-10 inches.

this is just like last year when the retards said Irma would completely demolish Miami so everyone evacuated and it ended up landing in Key West
urine idiot.

1) ALL the models had Irma making a direct landfall on Miami as a monster cat 5 hurricane. As it approached the Caribbean it was one of the most powerful hurricanes ever on record. It went about 20 miles south of where they thought it would, skimmed the mountainous Cuba, which really weakened it. The northern turn ended up being about 50 miles later than the models predicted.

2) The maximum sustained winds of a northern hurricane is not what makes it dangerous. Sandy wasn't even a hurricane or tropical storm when it hit NJ, and yet it caused extreme destruction in NYC. The reason was because of its size and accumulated energy. Florence grew significantly overnight. The overall size of the storm and how long it's been moving is much more significant for storm surge. The storm surge for Florence will be similar to cat 4 or cat 5 storm surge.
