Yeah the FBI is full of shіt dude. I was just reading an NBC story yesterday from October 19, 2020. The FBI said they were still in the process of determining whether the laptop had been hacked by foreign actors during that time. You gotta remember that they had the laptop in their possession since 2019, directly from the Delaware laptop shop. They weren't trying to help put this "Russian disinformation" narrative to bed -they were the ones that made it up.

I have never disputed that the story was wrongfully suppressed by Twitter. My argument is that you are placing way more blame on the FBI than Twitter when the Twitter files seem to indicate that Twitter went to fairly extreme measures to stop dissemination with little due diligence whatsoever and without the consent or advice of many Twitter employees. To me, these files read as Twitter opportunistically suppressing the storypossiblybecause it was beneficial to their side, especially someone like Yoel Roth who is a notorious public Trump hater. But that is my own speculation.

I agree with you that Twitter was overzealous in censoring the story, however, the FBI deserves culpability because they fed social media this Hunter Biden hack-and-leak operation story.
Where was the Hunter Biden foreign hack-and-leak operation? There was none. The FBI lied.

Sure, I have friends in the FBI so maybe I'm biased. But from this story alone, I put little weight into the vague warning issued by the FBI compared to the extreme lock-down on dissemination by Twitter. I don't feel Twitter felt pressured and you might call it overzealous... personally, I think it was more opportunistic. The people at Twitter making these decisions are leftists and very publicly vocal Trump hater. I am not saying that is the reason but there are enough tweets from Yoel Roth to demonstrate motive. We have no idea what Jim Baker has possibly suppressed just from the release of this info. It is possible they reached out to the FBI and we just haven't seen it.

That's why there is no doubt in my mind that they would willingly hire someone like Jim Baker and internally take the initiative to suppress dissemination of NY Post story. I don't think anyone is debating that part. As far as the FBI pressuring them, no one at Twitter or ******** has claimed that and the reporters cited above found the opposite once reviewing the Twitter files. It's perfectly sensible to investigate it, but there will be a hard time proving the FBI pressured them when no one at Twitter or ******** will admit to that. Having said that, if they can prove Jim Baker was in discussions with someone at the FBI who was instructing him to suppress the NY Post article then you have a real story into government collusion.
The same was the case with the Russian collusion hoax. The Clinton campaign didn’t need to coerce anyone into taking extreme steps to spy on trump and to try to bring him down— the fbi and doj was more than willing to run with the manufactured dirt.
That doesn’t make it less illegal. It just shows the depth of corruption at our institutions.

Why the double standard? Oh wait…
These people act, and then find a way to justify their action. If called out, they hide behind plausible deniability and vague references of making the best decision with limited info, etc.
Though that argument falls apart, just like it doesn’t fit the fbi, when all actions align to protect dems and the establishment, and hurt republicans and those who question the narrative.

Funny how no one here complained about foreign interference on social media in 2016... that literally pushed Trump over the edge by a few thousand votes in three swing states. But Twitter not allowing something that wasn't verified right before the 2020 election? THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCANDAL EVAR!!!1111!!!!!!

That’s a little different than the fbi working to suppress evidence that joe Biden sold out his vp office to foreign govts for $$$. If that were trump, the fbi would have 10 special counsels investigating and the msm and social media would have been on fire.

From fbi texts, weiner handed ver Clinton’s emails in exchange for a lighter sentence in his sexting case (the NYPD didn’t stumble upon them as was reported). The NYPD reviewed them and were ready to press charges. There were rumblings of this and other details prior to the election, and the other details ended up being true after the fact. There is no reason to believe that the charges were false when everything else proved to be true.
The fbi and doj did everything they could to protect Clinton and take over the case. The doj threatened charges in the idle Eric Gardner case, and lynch went as far as threatening the NYPD and removing all agents on the case and replacing them with new ones (look it up).
The NYPD handed over the case with the promise of the fbi acting quickly. Coney publicly stated he opened the cases.
A few days later, comey tells us that a bu team working around the clock and metadata magic allowed his agents to review all files and there was nothing there. Clinton was clean.
In later testimony, strzok and 2 others reviewed 3k files out of over 300k in a single afternoon. The fbi and cia tech departments both said that metadata couldn’t be relied open for the files.
The fbi buried the investigation and gave Clinton the stamp of approval before the election. Considering the NYPD was ready to press charges, that was the best possible outcome for the dems and Clinton. They still thought she would win. **** hit the fan when she didn’t, hence the trump attacks and investigation, along with their cover up.

Again, that was the best possible outcome for Clinton and the dems. Sure— most people are clueless regarding the details so the can blame comey and the fbi without anyone questioning the narrative, but it is simply untrue. The fbi agents who handled the case belong in jail. Ironically, they were the same agents who handled the Clinton server case as the trump case. Treated those cases quite different… wouldn’t you say?
And unfortunately, knowing that this is taking place, the only chance for reform is an anti-establishment candidate. And our only anti-establishment candidate is trump.
People want to believe desantis is a trump without baggage, but he is bought and paid for by the establishment. We squabble about trivial things when our govt and institutions are completely corrupted.
Our country is screwed.

This isn't Right Wing speculation, this is evident through the bureau's conduct within several high profile cases, through Congressional whistleblowers, and first hand accounts. And the bureau doesn't take lightly to those within who speak out.
Look at the media circuses, appearances, and jobs given to corrupt agents. Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page.
Ignoring the obvious political connections between the FBI and the Media is one of the defining characteristics of being an NPC Liberal. It's as if the lens that Liberals look through is essentially a vacuum where no peripheral information is considered unless politically convenient. Which is also how the media is able to gaslight so many people because they dictate how or what people think about any topic.

Just like the pivotal fbi 302s in the Flynn case that magically vanished, those documents would have been toast.
As it is, the Durham no investigation has been blocking any release of the documents publicly. And just when Durham was finishing up, the Biden fbi swooped in to take them. Convenient.

I was hoping for more details related to the NY Post censorship story, based off the last drop that said Jim Baker was making the release complicated. Bari said they have broad and expanding access, so expect more. And Taibbi has the next release, so hopefully it is on whatever Baker could had been covering up. Not holding my breath, though.
