Yesterday morning I weighed 259.4 pounds, and this morning I weighed 260.4 so I only went up one pound.
I’m thinking I only ate slightly over my TDEE, because normally if I binged I would weigh three pounds more. I’m exercising a lot, so that must be stoking my metabolism.

the goal is sustainability here; suffering all the time just to look like a shredded bodybuilder for a few weeks isnt worth it. better to have a beach ready body year-round and be able to eat out and make mistakes here and there

One of my sons said it looked good and the other said it was kinda cringe. So I guess so far I've had 2/3 compliments on it.

Gonna have a nice Easter dinner this weekend as a cheat meal. Probably a ham and a flan.

I went off the diet completely and ate over 4,000 calories more than once and a minimum of 2,800 calories most days, but only went up by about three pounds. I’m back down to 259.2 pounds

I’m blaming the misc outage for my weight gain. Not the 2 weeks I spent in Japan and Taiwan. Only a couple of pounds up but still thanks bbing.com
Oh well. I’m starting some meds tomorrow that specifically say don’t drink alcohol. While I could have a few and get away with it thats about it because it’ll feel like I had 15 if I mix the two. Should make it a heck of a lot easier to stop the drunchies.

I’ve slipped off the diet many times over the past three weeks, but the weird thing is I didn’t gain a lot of weight from the slips. I got to a five year record low of 259, then bumped up to 262.6 despite massively overeating.
This seems to defy the laws of thermodynamics, but my theory is that I ate mainly healthy foods when I went over, and when I ate junk, it was Reese’s peanut butter cups, so they’re high in protein.
I’m fessing up to encourage others who slipped up to not be ashamed and get back on track. I’m going to try to stick to a 2,000 calorie a day diet and drink herbal tea if I get hungry after dinner.
This morning I was back down to 260.2 pounds

This is going to be a good year for me. Already have the base muscle, and now just need to lose like 15-20 pounds of fat to look really good. Cardio and diet are already on point, so it's just going to melt away. Already in great bike shape, which usually doesn't happen until around June 1, so way ahead of schedule.

I'm down about 10 lbs, have 10-15 lbs left to go, but I hurt my left shoulder and can't do any upper body lifting. I tried working around it and just hurt it more, so I'm taking 10-20 days off.
Will I lose all my gainz on a cut without lifting?

So I just stick to the exercises that I can do. For biceps, I can still do hammer curls. Not ideal, but it is what it is. For back, pretty much all I’ve been able to do the past month is pullovers and shrugs. Also not ideal. But it is what it is.

down -20 lbs since February. from from 195 to 175. Started doing stairmaster 3x per week for 30 minutes. Also been running twice a week sprints and long distance. Main thing diet wise was to stop drinking alcohol and fast food to only 1x per week. 6 pack slightly showing need to lose 5 - 7 more lbs
also for lifts, decrease rest time to 30-45 seconds in between each lift. You will be amazed at how much harder it is. Secondly been implementing way more pullups and pushups - 50 pullups and 100 pushups before every lift as a warmup
breakfast ususally eggs with banana or cherries or kiwi.
lunch usually a big salad (greek or cole slaw) with chicken or steak
dinner usually soup with sardines ....sometimes do stir fry
snack is usually fruit with peanut butter
replaced coka colas with Kombucha
cutting is tough but ive noticed my stomach shrinking a bit and not needing to eat as much food to feel full

Cheat day today. Feels amazing. Went to Penn Station got a large Classic Italian sub with fries and a coke. About to get some chips and hummus tonight to watch a movie. Then another 6 days of cutting and eating clean
quick question. which cardio is easiest/hardest on the knees? I have noticed some knee soreness from running so much. I biking or stairmaster better for knees? I know swimming is good too.

My busy travel month is finally done. Didn’t do great but I tried to keep that fatassery to a minimum. Didn’t do too bad. Now I can get serious about it.
On a somewhat related note my tiny ass gym has its first fitness influencer. Tripod and all. Told me I was going to be in her shot and I ended that real quick. There’s not enough space here as it is so it really pisses me off taking up space for a damn tripod.

This thread has gone quiet. Anyway a pretty good week calorie/workout wise for me. After the gym today hit up Chick Fil A for some grilled nuggets and strips. Got in most of my daily protein in about 600 calories so I can loosen up for the day. Feelsgoodman
