ITT: Yearly CUT begins today. Fellow lifters/cutters GTFIH for some spring GREENS
Cut officially begins today, two days ahead of schedule. I'm looking at 90 days this year. In the past year, I've been able to maintain my conditioning more so than I ever have, having put on only approximately 5 pounds since the end of my last cut in early June 2023. I estimate that I'll be able to get to an even leaner state by end of May 2024, more shredded than I've ever been. I also anticipate that this cut will be my most challenging one yet, particularly due to lifestyle, logistical, and work considerations. Balls to the walls, though. No excuses. Will give it my all.
Gonna spread some greens to my fellow spring cutters ITT. We're all gonna make it (srs). Post your own personal goals ITT and let's keep each other motivated!

Too early for that. Cutting for 3 months? God dayum OP. Good for you tho!
But it seems too early. What is your cut plan? All in diet or stepping up cardio too? After 3 months of cutting then what? You just gonna let it go?
April - May is start doing cardio everyday and tighten up the diet, no junk, no processed foods, up the protein and reduce the carbs. Fast from 7pm - 10am. Thats 2 months you could get absolutely ripped for June.

Cutting on my end is mostly achieved via caloric deficit. I'll hike and do outdoor stuff but don't do indoor cardio stuff.

In. It’s time I stop being a fatty. Looking to drop about 15 pounds. Going for a dry March so it should help the weekend pizza binge that kills my progress.

Good luck! I'm not cutting but was able to drop the Tylenol and cut back on Motrin by a lot so I'm not having to snack every couple hours to avoid the stomach pain when taking them. I can already tell I'm losing water weight. Also been slowly ramping up my walking. Once my full recovery is done I'll see where I am and cut the last few lbs if still up.

Think of yourself in Santorini shredded and making heads turned

Just to share this, and I know it isn't the same, but you can make healthy pizzas and other foods you enjoy from scratch while controlling the individual ingredients used in their creation. For example, tonight my cut dinner is hamburgers on the grill. I've regularly made pizzas while cutting but I tend to make a combined buckwheat/oat flour dough and add on lean meats, plenty of veg, tomato sauce, and lean cheeses. My personal belief is that you must make overarching changes to your lifestyle to maintain a new level of conditioning. You just need to be flexible and find a way to do so.
Can't help you with booze, though. That really just has to go, unfortunately.

I started religiously tracking my calories with MyFitnessPal on January first, then around the 17th of January I began eating 2,000 calories a day. Some days I go slightly over, but I’ve had amazing results. Lost around 23 pounds so far

Cut begins today, I just got back from vacation and was putting off the start until it was over.
I've got 8 months until I turn 50, and want to start the third trimester of my life off in great shape, so I'm going to set the stage by June and keep pushing through summer.

^ Fun to see other people are also beginning their cuts this time of year. It makes sense in terms of timeline if you want to spend the entire summer shirtless

I got up to 205 which is way too heavy for my build. I did put on good muscle and strength though, but I'm down to 196 now and looking to drop another 15lbs.
Honestly I just cutting calories to get ready for ramadan and fasting. I have a bad habit of putting on weight then and dont want to do that this time around
