So is there any hope of those 7 or 8 tradies that are missing being alive? Like 1 in a million? Or are they basically gone. Rough fuking night.

imagine being some wage slave factory worker or officecel comming back from a double shift at 3am in boston listening to 80s radio
then you plunge 100ft into cold water confused. and have less than 30 seconds to break the glass on your car window while your car tumbles upside down in pitch black darkness. and swim ashore through concrete and steel rubble. and geico gives you $0 for total coverage

despite all the conspiracy theories, sometimes chit just happens
that ship that got stuck in the suez canal , the greek ferry that hit a sandbank and capsized because the the cnty crew were watching a football match, Zebrugge Ferry that sank because some cnt forgot to close the doors!, the Italian Concordia that hit a rock and partially capsized and the captain fckd off and went home!

Curious to how container ships are even allowed to go under that bridge. Aren’t they huge?

How important is that bridge for getting around the city? Like from now on are people pooched that want to get to work or homes over in that area?
Obviously any repair/replacement will take years.

I have also driven across the fancis before and its equally as terrifying to think of it collapsing. Fuker is super high to accommodate the big ships. RIP to the folks who perished.

Uhh, there was only about a 60 second window on this. Not sure if he knows how water and submerged vehicles under it means. Dude looks like he should be playing basketball instead.

Mfers survived the titanic being in colder waters for longer, but it looks like nobody was lucky enough this time
Majority of them being construction workers who may not have even been in their vehicles

Now the bridge was notified of the barge out of control which is why they stopped traffic but the question is did they contact the road crews or were they able to. Maybe there wasn't enough time.

I remember that one too. 695 is a rough beltway. Speed limit is 55 but if you go 75 you're getting rear ended. Plus it runs through trailer park areas and legit ghettos, so a lot of the cars don't give a fuk if they hit you for fender benders. I think 6 died then? Two of them were a father and son working on the same crew.
