I don't know why and I don't need to know why, but recently you seem EVER SO SLIGHTLY less of a dickhead than you used to be. It's subtle, but you've definitely "softened" just a touch IMO. Maybe you're going through some phase and will revert to the norm eventually, I dunno.

Anyway, whatever it is, try to keep it up. Chit, build on it if you can.
I havent changed at all. your perception has been inaccurate from the start.

I agree with alltrap that, at least based on your posts, there is a very slight change (perhaps not in real life). Perhaps it comes from more acceptence of your situation than previously, i don't know.

If his perception is innacurrate, then so is mine and that's fine, but you should ask yourself why our perception is innaccurate (or perhaps it is accurate and your perception of yourself is what's innaccurate, it can often be difficult to objectively judge ourselves over time). Ultimately, our exposure to you for the most part doesn't go beyond your posts, and your posts have definately changed in their tone (subtly though, not dramatically, but i definately find you slightly less abrasive than prior), and so if people mis-perceive you then you need to take some of the blame for that.

Anyway in on thread, hope to see BBMG getting some action this summer

I have explained this a few times. BTW that number breaks out to about 47 post a month or 12 posts a week.
There are many on the misc that are sort of like me. Many with great potential and just need a push in the right direction. So its my way of connecting to those and seeing if I can offer a helping hand.

On the flip side....it also takes me outside of my IRL bubble. It helps be get a glimpse of what other generations and people outside my bubble are thinking.

I can see that too and my theory is that he sees hope. He knows that things can get better. Thats why he is trying......and for that I am still cheering him on. Just wish he would also take some perspective to add to his chances.

I too like to mingle with low socioeconomic peasants from time to time.

I feel just as hopeless as I ever did before, all I've realized is that I haven't taken certain steps in a long time and its worth to see if anything has changed.

Bingo.

I’m fairly certain one of BBMGs main issues is his self-perception.

He’s the only person I’ve ever encountered online who is like “nah man, how I am on the internet is COMPLETELY different to how I am in RL”.

Most people’s online personas are exaggerated versions of their real selves. So, I can buy the idea that he’s less of a dickhead in RL than on the internet, but the idea he’s totally different is delusional thinking on his part.

I guarantee that more perceptive people (which are typically women) pick up on some dickhead energy.

.
That isnt really what I claim, what I claim is that I am mainly this way about the specific topic of women because its been such a miserable aspect of my life marked by rejection and pain and hopelessness so I speak and think about it in a way that reflects that.

It isnt applicable to almost anything else in my life. I dont think of almost anything else in my life the same way.

Yes, if you bring up women to me in real life I will say the same things and think the same way, because this is how I truly feel about this topic. But 99.9% of the time this is not relevant.
