So, what you're saying is making fun of fat people, retarded people, making jokes about abortion, putting down females, making fun of Haiti, Canada, and every other country, making fun of religious people…. That's all okay. Just don't make fun of 9/11.
Americans are some of the biggest fackin babies I've ever seen. We want to live a life where if we get offended we can tell the teacher…..hey, someone punish that person because I'm offended.
Wahhhhhhhhhhhh, that's all I hear. It's okay if they make fun of everything but once you get to something that offends me, that's not funny.

i lol at most of the things in this thread. if i don't, it's not because i'm offended, it's because it didn't live up to it's "lulz" potential. the WTC pic was certainly lulz worthy.

I'm not saying you shouldn't live your life without having feelings on a certain subject but you only get offended if you let yourself get offended and you feel like that person has no right to offend you so I'm gonna tattle to the authorities.
Some people in my family are fat. Do I whine when someone makes a joke about it? No
I am mostly white with some Mexican in my background. Do I whine every time someone makes fun of Mexicans or white people.
If I had someone I knew in the WTC that died I probably wouldn't joke about it but I would never tell someone or tattle on someone if they did. Everyone loves to jerk off about how much they love free speech but when it comes down to it how many people really believe that.
The neg/reps system was for people to judge whether people were making knowledgeable posts and knew what they were talking about on a subject. Some people use it to neg people on a matter of personal opinion and sense of humor. Those people are *******s…..DookieDrip is one of them.

You do not understand the art of oneupsmanship in an effort to improve yourself.
Let's say for example:
Picture of a fat boy.
Real life fat boy sees the picture.
Fat boy gets off his ass and starts bodybuilding.
He becomes " Charles Atlas " at the beach with all the hot women.

All of these people are alive. Americans in general don't speak ill of the dead ( natural, accidental or murdered ) and those lost to abortion.
It's using a situation/event to find humor. Comics do it all the time. Their lives are usually the most tragic and yet they find humor. The comedy is not in the guy falling but what is inserted, ie the spider man and the FFFFFUUUUU picture. You can argue that it's insensitive but I have little patience with sensitive people.

I know the spiderman was inserted in there as humor but on the same panel of the falling man, God Bless his soul died that day.
Directly beneath that picture is the FFFuuu picture. That is the problem right there.
I am not one of those sensitive people and I didn't appreciate that picture either.
Other pictures when viewed if taken in the correct context can be constructive criticism if you allow it to be.
Granted nobody likes being made fun of in real life but sometimes the pictures do make you stop and really think …
" Man, I need to change my life for the better. "
That is where the constructive criticism comes in.
In real life, if done in real time the human experience may not be able to handle some of these things like for example …
Negative criticism, in its mild and extreme forms of criticism.
That is where the pictures really help, if you allow it to help yourself.

I begin tomorrow. Eighteen weeks in this dark hole. 126 days of pain. 3024 hours of hunger and desire. I'm already counting the minutes, the seconds When it's over, I'll step into the light. I will shine…
Until then, you'll live in the shadow, in the darkness, in a place few will ever see… Where ugliness becomes beautiful.
