Nah no military service here. Straight to school after HS, and got lucky with landing the job I have now. Can confirm we have so many bakeries/Mexican stores around here. Cardenas for example is about ten minutes from my place, and they have the most hnnng bread in general specially when it's fresh.

@Zackad man those Chipotle chips are amazing! I don't know whats going on with Chipotle though, I saw a news article they have mice in some of their stores or something. Not sure where, it was just my coffee and five minutes of news before work.

Ohh good, gad you at least sold some off to poeple. could prob still sell it expired on craigslist and just assume no liability for it. I give 0 ****s about expirations on 60% of food (if it wasnt for actual food like produce, dairy, and animal proteins it would prob be like 90%), i think alot of people are like that tbh.
lol, yeah but i'm still like net $7k in the hole over the past few years thanks to poverty protonz. it's all good though, it's time to wash my hands clean of this. i know people might not care about the expiry date but still, it's a dairy product and it's already past its expiry date by around 3-4 months, and its manufacture date was over 2.5 years ago…

Normally, we do get off early on Friday's, but this is our slow season. No sense in being here just surfing the interwebz. Everything is going well. We actually just hired a part time person that will take over everything that we don't want to have to deal with, which is awesome. I hated ordering cushions and covers, lol. Thanks for asking.

I love having a part-timer on certain days lol. They really do get all the stuff you don't want to do. Although today the part-timer is one that doesn't stop talking, and it's already a slow as eff day with nothing to do. She's really only here to relieve me for lunch lol.

Dang man they must be filthy rich. Cardenas is the Mexican Stater Brothers/ Albertsons lol. I don't really shop there, but I do get their bread, and they have fresh watermelon juice that is legit the best drink I've ever had in my life. I see with the military vibes. Nah though my mom actually lives about five-ten minutes away from my place depending on if you get all the lights. Most of my family is within ten minutes of my place, it's nice we all stayed local. We've always been a tightly knit family. SRS note though…..try Cardenas bread and watermelon juice hng!

I dont think the store is that old, maybe it was the grandparents who started it or something cause i remember them being pretty well off, but not insanely balled out, they probably have moved since those days. will get some bread and water melon juice next time i see one. water melon juice is probably a perfect post workout drink

Not sure how old it is either. I feel like they just started popping up within the past ten years. Watermelon juice is great for post workout recovery though; carbs, calories and mostly water lol. Only shame is that they don't sell it in gallon jugs or anything. Gotta just by a big gulp size, and savor it for all of ten-twenty minutes depending on your thirst level.

kale and beans is psai's go-to prepped "lunch" every day at work. somehow he thinks that suffices as a meal.

lol bruh i went on this "slow carb diet" thing for the past few months and that's how i cut from 187 to 169. My poverty lunches were 1 can black beans + kale + broc**** + seasoning + quest bar for dessert. it sucked but i was able to cut well and (IMO) maintain what little muscle i had in the first place lol

not on that diet any more, but my lunch today had some vegan "ground beef" in it

lol bruh i went on this "slow carb diet" thing for the past few months and that's how i cut from 187 to 169. My poverty lunches were 1 can black beans + kale + broc**** + seasoning + quest bar for dessert. it sucked but i was able to cut well and (IMO) maintain what little muscle i had in the first place lol

not on that diet any more, but my lunch today had some vegan "ground beef" in it
vegan "ground beef"
vegan "ground beef "
vegan beef vegan beef
vegan beef vegan beef
vegan beef vegan beef

lol very true

i believe horchata is a dairy based drink spiked with cinnamon and just a little bit of hhhnngg

personally it's a little on the rich side for me, I prefer the jamaíca drink, no clue what it is though.

Thanks for the knowledge bruh. I'll have to try a horchata I have some friends that rave about it. Isn't the jamaica drink like a tea? If it is my mom used to make that. It's super healthy for you, flushes your blood.

Lol i don't think so? it might be originally be, or the ones served where i go might be derived from it, but usually its like a dark crimson/reddish-purple, and taste like some amalgamation of hisbiscus tea and raspberry juice or something like that. Pretty syrupy/sweet, but I love it. Can't imagine it'd be healthy though. looks like this. Also horchata is actually made from rice not dairy, my bad

EDIT: just googled. it is basically just chilled hibiscus tea lol….mind=blown. they taste so different hot vs cold

Yes, that is the drink I'm thinkin of. It's like leaves or some chit, and my mom used to make iced tea with it. Was actually pretty good, it has a very unique taste I'll definitely give it that. This horchata sounds like a dessert dish I used to get too. Once again….my mom lol used to make a Brazilian dessert that was basically like rice pudding. Still one of my all time favorites.

Side note: lunch in thirty. Think I'll run home and make a sandwich.
