Kind of excited for this week coming up.
NVDA, VSTO, and UPST tapping new ATH's and SQ getting strong again.
DKNG still sucks cawk, but overall looks healthy and prepared to continue.
in b4 black monday collapse.

Anyone buying calls on AMC Tuesday?
Risky but if this goes GME it could pay for my Disney World trip this year.

Tough to say which way it’s headed, but I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed the ride.

AMC bounces from ~$24 low and sees new highs or it goes to ~$17.70.
GME bounces from ~$220 low and see ~$370 again or it goes to ~$110.

thinking whether it's good to get into NVDA before stock split after seeing what happened with TSLA

If it goes below ~132, I'd recommend a target of about ~$81 but that's aggressive.

I tend to agree with CF in an earlier post last week—$280 is the next hurdle. It may drop back down to $180-190 with the NFT buzz over; but 6/9 is right around the corner—it will be really interesting to see what happens then.
Also, Euro market closed at $230 USD with a high of around $260 today.

To be fair and play devils advocate, wtf is GME's long term business model looking like? I can download every game i want from the playstation store, online, and order any Gaming widgets through amazon.
Heavier focus on e-Commerce, NFT trading for digital licenses—and even a streaming platform are all possible omnichannel approaches.
And their brick and mortar stores are still turning profits; however, I suspect they will need to scale back in this area to focus on bottom line savings as well. The transformation and modernization efforts will take some time and likely involve some M&A’s to speed the process up.
Netflix is a great example of pivot strategy—they’ve optimized and pivoted their model 4-5 times in the amount it usually takes most companies a generation or longer to do. They are even looking at trying to get a jump on the gaming future as well, which I think that a lot of failures in the marketplace, overall gaps in the market, consumer willingness to try/buy and possibly looking ahead to what GameStop is doing are all positive signs (to me) that GME is heading in the right direction.
Only time will tell, for sure, and these are all my personal thoughts, no real due diligence here—I’m just having fun with the ride and looking forward to seeing where things go.

And pre-market suggests it’s following yesterday’s Europe market—around $233.
Also, forgot to add a link about Netflix’s exploration into gaming:
https://www.theverge.com/2021/5/24/2...executive-2022
A lot more out there on it to support. Netflix already has the infrastructure, perhaps trying to be a first mover (GameFly and some other failed attempts aside) in a true streaming / game trading marketplace.
Imagine if Steam teamed up with GME or Netflix on something like this…

You are correct about ~$280 being the next hurdle, if it crosses that then it goes to at least ~$335.
I just took a super quick look at the charts after drinking too much lol, I can see more clearly now though.

"Today, we announced selling 8.5 million AMC shares at a price of about $27.12 each. 8.5 million shares is less than 1.7% of our outstanding shares, and is a small portion of our typical trading volume. But it gives us $230.5 million of cash to use primarily to grow AMC. {3 of 5}"

There has gotta be more to this story. Reading their prospectus and 8K, I think you need to be crazy to play this game but that's just me
Some quotes from their 8K @ https://sec.report/Document/0001104659-21-074526/
There has been significant recent dilution and may continue to be additional future dilution of our Class A common stock, which could adversely affect the market price of shares of our Class A common stock. The risks of future dilution must also be weighed against the risks of failing to increase our authorized shares, which could adversely affect the market price of shares of our Class A common stock.
From January 1, 2020 through June 1, 2021, we have issued 448,700,163 shares of our Class A common stock in a combination of at-the-market sales, conversion of Class B common stock, conversion of notes, exchanges of notes, transaction fee payments, equity grant vesting and the private placement of shares. The dilutive effect of these issuances was partially offset by the cancellation of 51,769,784 shares of our Class B common stock. Subject to shareholder approval of the increase in authorized shares described below, in the future, we may issue additional shares of Class A common stock to raise cash to bolster our liquidity, to refinance indebtedness, for working capital, to finance strategic initiatives and future acquisitions or for other purposes. We may also issue securities convertible into, or exchangeable for, or that represent the right to receive, shares of Class A common stock. We may also acquire interests in other companies or other assets by using a combination of cash and shares of Class A common stock or just shares of Class A common stock. Any of these events may dilute the ownership interests of current stockholders, reduce our earnings per share or have an adverse effect on the price of our shares of Class A common stock.
Edit: Looks like that maximum offering price is just used to calculate fees
