Not how it works, profits from that seed money = more seed money.

Hope it's not too terribly depressing for sir watchngars but I'm actually 22 (and a half but who's counting).

No professional pics as of yet (at least one of which should include some form of watch shot). However, here's an iPhone shot of us being pelted with confetti from cascarones

Dude, I was totally in the area, I thought you were going to send me an invitation? :'(

Congratz tho! May your children tower above you!

Since Yushhh isn't delivering any watch pics, I'll do the honors. Just took this 2 hours ago

Kabarbra streisan, im sorry man. When I saw that you weren't too far I was seriously going to tell you to come but we were wayyyyyy over our intended number of guests.

We wanted to invite no more than 150 people and ended up with over 200 at the ceremony. Invited about 300. Our families are not small.

Haha no worries, brah, I was just joking Although it would've been super sweet, I wouldn't belong there. It would be interesting to see a Texan wedding though. *puts on cowboy hat* Did y'all shoot hella guns?

Lol I would say this wasn't a typical Texan wedding. Though a couple of my groomsman did wear boots. No guns were shot.

And yeah Busch, we got back together a couple months later and have actually been infinitely better since.

The biggest question though, what watch were you wearing?

Was it the speedy? I'd like to get married with a big 47mm PAM on my wrist.

Gonna end up defending your honor with it? Might as well with a club on your wrist

Here's my contribution brahs.

Rolex Yacht-Master II - absolutely in love with it. Get a chit load of compliments.

Also got a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Day-Date with Presidential band (below pic is off the net, mine has diamonds on each of the hours except for 12AM/PM & 3PM) - love this thing also.

Not a fan of Patek, I do like the Audimar's Piguet Royal Oak collection though - I'll most likely get one of the below by the end of the year.

New ceramic planet oceans announced. Looks stupid. Way too thick with the GMT and gonna cost about $10K I imagine. Tudor makes a ceramic chrono for under $5K…

I've never seen this Rolex before, it's only $7k and is a 42mm.
Bruuhhhh put the money to work. A rolex on a 22 year old is gonna look a little off anyways. Why not wait it out and be able to buy exactly what you want and still be sitting on a nice chunk of cash?

Not to mention you're gonna feel like you earned it for yourself

As always broseph, mirin hard!

AP is my favourite brand, how about try steel instead of Gold or a leather band, something to mix up the collection?

Spoiler!

Also this Patek might sway you: Patek Philip Nautilus, same designer (Genta) as the AP Royal Oak.

Spoiler!

Yeah, I don't want to be "gifted" a watch even though when I graduated college my parents wanted to buy me one. I figure I'm gonna look at it so many times during the day that I'll constantly be reminded that it was given to me and that I didn't really earn it.
I'll def go with a PO for my first watch since I want a skeleton case really badly.

Bro seriously what is wrong with that? If your parents want to give you a gift you take it and be thankful that you have great people in your life. It will be a constant reminder of the time your parents were so proud of you graduating they wanted to give you a gift you can potentially keep for life. Every time you look down at your wrist, anywhere in the world, it can remind you of that great feeling.

Don't buy into this guilt trip that people are trying to give to you. If your parents worked hard and can afford to give their children a certain lifestyle, why should you feel bad?

A father giving a fine watch to his son is a great tradition. Its what I will be striving to do.

I'm pretty sure all men on the MISC are trying to become CEO $10k a day. One benefit of that success is that you can one day pass it onto your children. If anyone tells you otherwise they are most likely jealous.

That was actually one of the main reasons why I picked the PO over the SMP as my first good watch.

Well it was a tough battle but definitely going with the Audemars over the rolex sub and rolex daytona. ( maybe down the line add them)

Now final ? Should I buy on say Jomashop…..or pony up and go to a dealer for the 'experience' I would say the convenience of Jomashop is quite enticing…just order and be done. Obviously price discount but kind of a irrelevant at this point.

Jomashop is a grey market retailer, if you are ok with that then nothing wrong with joma shop.
