Still such poverty volume on almost everything but AMC. Sold Apple calls this morning I bought at close Friday. Will probably try to grab some more if it dumps to 124. Maybe it tests 122 again tomorrow or Wednesday. AMD has also gone up to fast. Gonna pick up some puts on them probably.

SPY would be getting completely drilled if it wasn't for energy stocks right now. Been pretty strong resistance at the $422 range.

I literally laid out the oil road map.

About as easy as money comes.

DVN, CPE up 10%+ right now.

I don't expect oil to go below ~$61 but I estimate the current bottom to be about $57. If it goes there, you will be able to enter some oil positions and it should come back up to ~$60 very quickly. I'd say the current top is about ~$66.5 but oil should blow past that this summer and be able to sustain higher prices for a while.

Outside of another pandemic, I cant think of many ways oil loses. 2021 should be a good year but it would be a lot better if government didn't delay things like schools reopening and ending extra unemployment benefits. I think 2022 will be an especially good year.

I'm basically a prophet at this point.

Any of you stock brahs bet on horses?

It's like a simpler version of finding value in stonks, except the payoff is literally in 2 minutes lol.

Jim Cramer bet on horses before he was a stock guy, and there's people who do it profitably.

Belmont Stakes coming up, place your bets.

all those political headlines don't mean shiit.

when it comes to stock market its all about fed.

This is very hard to understand (need to research/read more) but jist of it short treasury rates to oblivion because rates have to go up. Banks are dealing with too much excess liquidity without anywhere to put it.

After watching a video about Vincent Kosuga and his monopoly on onions, I decided I'd try to do something similar with another vegetable. I did some research and found out many agricultural forecasters expected this year's gourd yield would be far smaller than the past, due to deteriorating soil conditions in central Mexico and a warmer-than-average spring. At first, demand soared around Halloween and prices skyrocketed, but the gourd bubble burst on November 12th. Unfortunately, the coronavirus caused a massive drop-off in demand due to fewer families decorating their tables for thanksgiving, and prices plummeted. I had invested early enough that I thought I would still be fine, but then on the morning of December 2nd, a new email in my inbox caused my stomach to turn into a pretzel. The massive gourd shipment from Argentina, scheduled for early March, had arrived. I was planning on selling off my futures right before this, in February, but this ruined everything. To top it off, the gourds in this shipment were absolutely gargantuan, some topping 4 pounds each, causing the price-per-pound to drop like an anchor into the range of 6 cents per pound. I am ruined.
lmao.

We all know someone IRL who has done some clumsy "investment" like this.
