I just want to say that I liked that ending scene with Saddiq giving the speech, with the flashback of the 'survivors' fighting back against the Whisperers.

This season has been kinda slow, so that was a memorable part. Looking forward to Negan stepping up to fight the Whisperers.

last nights episode was uncalled for and disappointing

in the comics, as soon as the people find out about the heads being on spikes everyone loses their minds and wants to hunt down alpha. Rick has to calm everyone down and decides that peace would be the best thing for awhile which causes a rift in the loyalty folks had for him. They felt that if it was ricks family up there on the spikes hed raise hell but since it wasnt , he didnt care. this lead to other people trying to get leadership and all that.

last nights episode of just walking in the snow was boring and had little to offer in terms of progressing the story much. i felt that everyone looked like they got punked out by alpha and took they killings like bitches. Rick would have killed everyone and everything had that been one of his kids, wife or gf up on a spike. We saw rick bite a mans neck off for carl. now we are watching a whole community tuck tail and run =(

It was just the negan gets out of jail episode to set up his redemption arc. Lots of lame filler but that's to be expected with this show. You have to get through 6 boring episodes for every good one.

It's not a romantic thing. I just think the king wants lydia away from Carol because of her part in Henry's death. He hasn't accepted her yet even though it seems like Carol has. But king knows Carol is a nut job and can flip out and go postal at any moment. He just wants to keep them apart and keep Carol sane.

They've killed off most of the good characters. Just want them to let Negan free. Let Negan and Darryl run the group and go to war with Alpha.

apparently I deleted the wrong episode on my dvr because I totally missed Tara, Henry, Enid and Maggie getting killed because the last episode I watched was boring AF. just running around in the snow and busting frozen walkers like glass.

The snowstorm ep was lame and there was no real cliff-hanger or anything meaty to keep people tuned for the next season.

I'd be surprised if the show lasts another season. Between all these women being leader crap and Ricks department the show is lacking a strong lead character.

I can't believe the squad is being bested by a group of skin dressing ***s who sit in the forest all day and is led by a crazy ass bald dike. Where are all your AR15s? Holy **** man. Bring out the big guns and go to town on them.


The new cast sucks so much ass it isn't funny. Who do fans like these days? Daryl and Negan. It's time for Carol to move on to better pastures with her stupid kingdom boyfriend.

On the other hand maybe a lot of people watch it, because they've invested time in it, and want to see how it ends?

Though I think based on the ratings, a lot of people have given up on it.

I fall in and out of love with The Walking Dead, but overall I've enjoyed the show. (Even if sometimes I've watched episodes, whilst doing something on my laptop.)

I'm really glad I stuck with it, after watching season 9. IMO it got progressively better, from the beginning to the end. Can't wait for season 10.

I really don't know how they are going to end it either, and it's become clear that we are going to get more deaths of significant characters before the show's done.

I'm not sure why you guys (meaning a lot of miscers) always have a problem with female leadership in TV and films.

I think Alpha has been played brilliantly by the actress, and is a strong villain that is as good as Negan. Her character is hated now, just as strongly as Negan was.

You didn't see the part where they show the masses of Zombies in the area?

They are a pretty small group now, with low ammo.

They've also lost one of their homes. And have lost 4 leaders (Rick, Maggie, Jesus, and Tara.) They are a broken group.

Carol, The King, Michonne are arguably the only strong and fighter leaders left in the group. Darryl is a lone wolf.

Alpha lacks the stage presence like Jeffrey Dean Morgan or David Morrissey. She isn't remotely close to being hated like the two. Those guys were able to captivate the audience by bringing suspense and danger to the show, atleast that's how I feel.

I think a decent amount of fans are still salty about some of the main character deaths over the last couple seasons.

Such as Carl, Glenn, and the exits of Maggie and Rick. BUT, viewers should realize these things don’t last forever.

I also think the show runners and cast did such a great job with the 1st few seasons that later seasons haven’t met lots of fans’ expectations.

Let’s be honest, at a high level the story lines are recycled to a degree.
The “good guys” seek sanctuary in the apocalypse and we follow them as they encounter “bad guys” and question their own humanity.

There were a ton of iconic scenes in the early years that simply cannot be duplicated now. Lots of the best/most riveting moments were “1st time” events in this apocalypse-

Shane killing Otis to get the medical equipment back to Herschel and Carl.

Shane emptying the barn only to find Sophia in there the whole time.

Rick “turning the corner” killing the two guys in the bar.

Rick killing Shane.

The farm being over-run.

The “good guys” taking over the prison.

The “governor” as the 1st major bad guy.

Etc, etc, we could go on. So many great moments in the 1st five seasons.

I’ve always thought things plateaued out once they got to Alexandria.

But I thought it really picked back up in season 8 when the communities united and we had the war against the saviors.

The Governor was amazing in his role for pretending to be a charming caring individual when in reality he was a rapist and sociopath. Negan was and is an ashole but it's his gimmick. he has a heart for people and believes in order.
