Holy fuk. So tonight I downloaded the last patch, said a prayer and left the night club where the game starts. Immediately, and FOR THE FIRST TIME since I got my PS4, I finally heard the jet engine sound people have talked about. I walked a little further to the first guy repairing the car. Still in the compound, mind you, but I could see the city in the background.

Dude the graphics are so grainy and blurry. There's no sharp lines, textures are awful. It feels like the game hasn't rendered all the details yet. And keep in mind…. I didn't even enter the city! I was just in the back yard of the pub. What a fuking mess. I'm not gonna torture my ps4 like that.

finally realized you have two different types of skill points….

going full crafting/engineer then will fill out the rest in cyber/hacking stuff.

There are a lot of missions and side quests where you need a certain level of hacking or brute force to open doors..I'm stuck on the mainquest because I don't have enough points to force doors open…don't even know how I'm supposed to improve those stats. Is it just base level or do I need to use tokens?

Also I think some side quests are broken. There's one where you're supposed to rescue a wife that was kidnapped, but when I showed up and killed everyone she wasn't there.

You need to put more points into tech/body if you want to open doors …. But have you properly explored the level? with a bit of exploration/going outside/surveying the area there are all sorts of ways you can approach the areas. Unless there's literally no way through then in that case you need to level up I suppose, but from my experience there's quite a few ways to get into places. Just gotta be a bit creative and aware and work dat eurojank srs.

I dont know whats happening to me but I dont see the graphics nice anymore, and Im playing ultra rtx everything. I was amazed at first but now im at meh, too much pop and blur, and visual glitches too.

I’m so torn on this game as a console brah. I was watching e3 gameplay of when they first showed and it feelsbadman. It’s not even about the graphics either. I think I’m just going to leave this game alone for now lol

Everything suffers from being too monolithic. It looks good from a medium distance, but up close its just a lot of bland geometry.

Compared to the lush landscapes and visages of W3, the concept just doesn't lend to ocular pleasure because of its setting alone.

For example if you ever see the grandeur and ultra artsy cinematography of the recent Blade Runner remake, it really needs to be almost mythical and conceptual to evoke the proper "futuristic" resonance.

But if you're just walking around at street level its pretty meh. No more or less surreal than a "real" modern city like in GTA. Especially since the immersion is so paper thin and hardly any substantial lore to put you into the Future world. It may as well just be a stylized fancy city of any modern era and by consequence, just as boring.

Compared to like…. the majesty of The Witcher 3 settings…. its a stark contrast and one that's flawed at the very core.

Don't do it boyo. That poor little rx 470 GPU in your PS is screaming for help, the real minimum GPU on the PC version is a gtx1080 @ 1080p(gtx1080 is 120% faster than a PS4)

Wait for them to patch it up, your console could literally melt itself

Once you realize there's a massive dose of forced TAA and post-processing, you realize the textures look like complete blurred ass, especially in motion.

There's so much post-processing for the illumination effects that it creates mouse input lag on a level so severe it's like having V-sync on, even with 90fps there's a noticeable delay when trying to aim my mouse cursor

The hype machine was so massive people weren't expecting anything other than 9+/10s reviews to come through, either. Even if a large amount of reviewers called out CDPR for their manipulation and went hard on **** like NPC AI and widespread clipping most of us would've disbelieved and claimed it was the lamestream media keeping based CDPR down.

Honestly this is a game that was getting delayed a lot, where it should have been obvious that they were rushing to get the game released this year. I can see why as well because continuously delaying games that have been in development forever can really phuck them up, especially since this was originally designed to be a last gen title and it has only gotten pushed up as a next gen title due to how long it has been delayed already. I have seen games get totally phucked up by taking too long to release, like by the time they actually come out they feel totally outdated despite the original ambitions that made it take so long as we can already see the effects of that sort of thing here. Just be glad we actually got to play the game and face the fact that if you want to play this game in a perfect state you should wait a couple more years for the definitive next gen version. Until then just appreciate what we got and that they actually had to balls to release this game.

Im taking it slow …. havnt played the game at all today and honestly dont really feel like it . GOG put up POE1 as a free game and i decided to mess around with it today instead.

Lmao even games in the 90's had better AI than this

I've noticed when I shoot a cop that I can just walk to the side of a building or get in a car(stealing a car isn't a crime apparently) and they disappear in 5 seconds




They should've just made the game completely linear for 30-40 hours

Can't believe people waited a decade for a game that's 70% finished
