the show is doing alot better with what they have to work with. i especially enjoyed the character development of negan...and is carol finally walking the direction of her comic book version?

The last 2 episodes IMO were a reminder of how good the show can be.

The alternate timeline scene of episode 13 was brilliant IMO, it showed that who are the good and bad people can be very subjective. And that loyalty and attachment is usually bred through familiarity and whoever shows you kindness first, rather than a moral evaluation of the group you are with.

I wish the writing was more consistent though, I think the quality of the show goes up and down like a see saw.
This has been the problem with the show for while. Some really good episodes, then some really bad ones. But overall the show seems to have been better recently. I did lol at the scene with Ezekiel where he is fighting zombies, and coughing and can barely stand... bro yesterday you were fighting the hoard with no problems and today you can't breathe.

The whisperers have been a good storyline though imo. They've made zombies an actual focal point in the show again, and they're threatening. I'm curious where they'll go after this story though. After the whisperers.... what?
