what's the deal with reds being ungreenable? srs

I've repped about 10 reds already since I came here and they go to like 72-80 and i refresh the page and they're red again

anyone else noticed this?

Was it an active user or an old account? The negative rep system seems to work differently here. I repped someone who came back from old misc where they were deep red and immediately made them green.

Yeah sometimes it works and they stay green but most of the time they go IMMEDIATELY back to red
