Chest day for me

Yeah, deloads seem pointless from my experiences. I’ll just take rests when I need them

I do PPL, so generally twice a week. I travel for work maybe once a month, sometimes more sometimes less, sometimes I have time to hit the hotel gym or LA fitness when I travel, sometimes I don't. I don't take rest days, but take days off when I travel, or have a late night out. Pick it back up wherever I left off with the PPL.

That’s a lot of volume for twice weekly, at least compared to me. It’s about double what I can handle. At least for back… for biceps, we aren’t that different. I hit everything at about 12-16 sets per week (6-8 sets per session).

I don't lift heavy anymore, too many tendon and joint issues. I do sets in the 10-15 rep ranges with moderate weight. Like rows, I'm only doing 80 lbs dumbells, but I do 5 sets of 15. I weigh 185-195, so pullups and chinups are probably easier for me than you, I only do 10 reps of those.

You're lifting heavier than I am based on your videos.

It’s a whole lot closer than you think.

I may go a little bit heavier on bench, squat, and deadlift on occasion. But even those DB Rows you’re talking about, that’s the same dumbbell I’m using currently for sets of 12 to 15. 🤷🏼
