I regret buying a 2025 Toyota RAV4. I wish I bought a Tacoma .

I feel like a little bitch driving it. I get like 35mpg though.

I never traded in a financed car, I wonder how that'll work.

Tacomas are so nice and they're by far the best value mid size truck on the market. Only bad thing about them is the size of the cab.

I got one of the last few of the GOAT tacomas: the 3rd gen, as one of the 4 cars in my current fleet


I would not buy a 4th gen, its a new motor and only 4cyl turbo and that shit seems to have issues.

3rd gen is tried and true, well tested and nearly bulletproof.


My dealership sends me a letter every other month begging me to trade her in, saying I can get a brad new 4th gen with zero change to my payments. Thats how much my truck has gone up in value. They desperately want my 3rd gen and to offload a 4th gen in equal trade.




I love the tacoma WAY more than PhaggyMiami's tessey...

new ones have had both engine and transmission problems. make sure Toyota has sorted through those

Problem is pretty much ever truck has ditched their naturally aspirated engines for turbo charged bullshit beside the Nissan Frontier I believe. I bought my wife a 2019 4runner. Lifted and installed new tires. Not sure why I chose to buy myself a RAV4 besides mileage. I get 14-16mpg on my wife's 4runner.

you can get v8s in full size trucks like the f150

some of the turbo engines are reliable too though.

if you care about gas mileage you should be looking at a turbo

That's good if the Accord has a naturally aspirated v6. The Ridgeline is one of the few trucks still offering a NA engine. And yes, it's the best truck for ~90% of the population that wants a truck....if utilitarian application specific needs are being met (i.e. sometimes need a truck bed, but 99% of the time just a pavement princess.
