LOGIN ISSUES: Advice if you are unable to login (README)
Hi,
A bug in versions prior to 1.3.2 may have caused issues for users using browser extensions that modify cookies, such as uBlock Origin. Additionally, certain trackers (e.g., Twitter) could have alter cookies in a way that prevented logins in version prior to v1.3.2. The workaround in those cases was to clear cookies.
The issues described above was resolved in v1.3.2. Please try to login again.
If you continue to experience login problems:
* Double-check that you are entering the correct password.
* If you use stored passwords, ensure they are up to date.
* Clear cookies
If you are still unable to log in, please email contact@obnoxiousbrutes.com.

No problems logging in , but recently I have to log in every time I come here and I never deleted cookies ? using an iPad Pro with Safari.
Ok I just closed my browser and then clicked on this site and no issues . Seems to be when I’m off longer ,like a half hour or so , dunno for sure .
I just today I’ve had to log in 4 different times , as I was logged out again. Same as yesterday

If you get logged out it means your cookie was deleted, expired (unlikely) or unreadable. When this happens again please login and update this thread shortly after. It will help me check the logs.

If you get logged out it means your cookie was deleted, expired (unlikely) or unreadable. When this happens again please login and update this thread shortly after. It will help me check the logs.

Just rebooted and was logged out once I powered up again . Freaking weird . I’ve gotta log into my wood forum and see if it reacts the same .

Just an update . Getting logged out all the time seems to be my problem. My 12.9 iPad Pro logs out if I’m off the site for a while,but my 10” iPad pro in my gym is always logged on .
Weird , but no biggy . I’m using Safari btw

Sooooooo I already f***ed up immediately by making my new account Silence3 with a burner password and burner email and then clearing my browser history thinking my phone saved everything but it didn’t so I locked myself out.
@allfather can you please restore my Silence3 account? I don’t want the old Silence Speaks account back you can delete that one for good thank you. I think you deleted my threads already thank you so much and once you can delete all my old posts I would like to delete those too thank you so much.
Also if you can delete all the old RHQ threads about me those were so awful I’d rather not keep those archived.

Welcome! I have reset your password for Silence3 and sent some information to Legz422, which she will hopefully pass on in another channel.
Yes, both Silence2 and SilenceSpeaks are scheduled for deletion, and I will most likely delete the data today or tomorrow. Unfortunately, it’s a somewhat manual process, hence some delay. Regardless, all requests to remove user owned data are respected and carried out.

I've found a very off quirk I've never experienced on a website ever: if I have one tab logged in it's fine, if I open a 2nd tab in the same browser to here, I have to log into the 2nd tab... A little annoying but mostly odd. Same browser shouldn't need a login for each and every tab. Meh

When you login to OB you get a cookie containing data that is used for authentication. If you are able to login and browse in tab #1 but not in tab #2, then somehow the cookie data is most likely not present in tab #2 (which it should).
