If most people like you, then you're doing it wrong

They don't actually like you

What they like is that you're always agreeable and don't give pushback because you want to avoid confrontation

If you start saying no to their requests...

If you start being not afraid to be confrontational and argumentative...

You'll see how quickly those same people will start hating you

Every social interaction is transactional

People will only "like" you as much as what you give them or what they can get out of you with as least resistance as possible

Start putting up barriers to the transactional nature of interactions and that "like" will go to hate
