One of the best things about not having any friends or family

There's absolutely no need to impress or even appease anyone

Most everything people do, even if it's subconsciously, is to project their social status, success, increase their level of desirability, and so on

You work out, dress up nice, drive a certain car, want a bigger home, etc as a way to show others your "worthiness"

But when you're forever single those things become irrelevant

Go out wearing sweatpants and a faded t-shirt
Drive around an old jalopy of a car
One bedroom studio apartment because anything more is unneeded for a single guy
Be rude, dismissive, and unfriendly if that's the real you because you don't have to pretend to impress anyone to get them to like you

It's quite liberating

1 and 4 are normal for me and I'm not some FA doomer posting his nihilist LARP on a dying message board full of gay indians

2 is impossible because I want a car that's loud, quick and can be louder and quicker

3 is ridiculous because of asset values and how much shit we've got
